TERRAFORMING THE SUN! [Once Again...] - Universe Sandbox 2

today we're gonna terraform the sun.. step 1: replace the sun with a random planet. step 2: done

That's basically the only way to do it. There is no terrarforming the sun. That's how the fusion in the sun works. Once the Hydrogen is used up it moves up the elementary table to Helium, which was created during the Hydrogen fusion. And during the fusion process heavier and heavier elements are created and used for the fusion process to keep the sun going, until iron is created. Which can't be used to keep the fusion going, so it ends up killing the star because the balance of outward explosion and gravity is not in balance anymore. You can't simply stop the fusion process in the sun before iron is created to stop the sun from going bye bye. Might've been more worthwhile to try and terraform one of the planets from the get to.

how to terraform the sun with out grabbing a planet and renaming it to sun step 1: get the sun step 2: set the mass to 1 Jupiter (set up a star and must pause before doing the 2nd step) step 3: wants after it cools down add in the water after the hydrogen and add in iron and silicate (add in some water) step 4: set the mass to 1 earths and add in a atmosphere and move the sea effect go to composition scroll down and see how many Life like Lifelilhood if its low you probably did something wrong if its high you did it right I hope this helps you

the REAL way to terraform the sun: Wait for it to go supernova(or in US2 just speed up time/put iron in it) then wait for it to form a solar system, rinse and repeat until a habitable planet forms. Yes, it won't be all in one piece anymore, but it will technically be a piece of a star that is habitable.
