It's how KZbin works. A video with a lot of views will keep getting suggested no mater how outdated or old it is. More views, make new views, and with even more views YT suggests it even more. A never-ending cycle which prevents new, good, videos form coming up. Hope one day they fix their AI.

yes, exactly, whenever you make a big piece of road it will go sharpy up or down. They have to be minimal. Also you have to go back whenever you make a strait new piece or going up if you're trying to go down. It has to be continuous in one direction.

Are you holding the shift key while making the next piece of the road? And even when you do sometimes it doesn't work and just have to delete the last part of the road, sometimes even start over.

You can zone on roads that are lower or higher than the other elevation. Just not too close to an overpass or underpass part of the road.

Same as all great discoveries. By accident. I was zoomed in at just the right time and just the right spot while plopping roads.

It can be that the park is not deep enough for a tunnel to be made. Or it can be that you just missed the sweet spot in some place(when you started the park line, when you pulled the road onto the park, are you holding the shift key while the mouse is on the park ect. )

They have decided to give it as a free update with the 7.0 patch. And not only roads but train tracks and street cars to. It makes sense since they couldn't pull it off as a DLC since we already found a way to do it ourselves.

Patch 7.0 is going to have adjustable height for roads. So you will be able to build a tunnel, a normal road or an overpass at the touch of a button.

It may be that your mouse sensitivity is too high to allow you to make small road pieces. Try lowering it. Or if that doesn't help try going forward and then back with each new road piece before releasing the mouse button. That way you will be able to see more of the changes on the land. And make sure to be zoomed in close enough to.

I haven't tried it myself, but avenues can make tunnels I am just not sure that you could place it onto that park and make another turn.

Well it took them 3 full months since I posted this, and the game has been out for 5 months. So they are only late about 5 months with this feature.

it's still possible, I did it just this morning in a new city. Just remember that the trick is to place minimal road pieces and each piece has to have the same down angle as the one before it.

Depends how you do it. If your using one of the tricks from this video, it is possible but it requires specific land elevation. It's not something that can be done everytime everywhere.

Thanks for this I created a tunnel with the High Density Street Car and wasn't sure how it was created. They should create a patch that would give the option if you want to create a tunnel or underpass. Thanks again

You have to dig down more. Tunnels have a certain depth at which they can be built. If you are already deeper but it is still not working you are probably just making small placement errors with the parks.

It's kinda late to change the name because it's "out there" (internet) with this name. I will incorporate those points in my next videos. Yeah, can't wait for Rome II, probably going to go back to making battle video commentaries to. But I will be making fun battle videos not purely win/lose, tactic videos because of the MP stat tracking system in Total War games relies on Steam, so it full of cheaters and exploiters.

I am guessing you're asking what Region? It's Whitewater Valley a 5 city region with 4 cities that have 2 highway entrances and exits.

most important part is to hold the SHIFT key and be zoomed in to see the changes in the land when you make new roads as small as possible.

Can you zone houses around the roads that are low such as the roads that are outside of the tunnel but still at that depth or the roads that are dug low into the ground using the technique from the first clip?

if you're having trouble making the overpasses use the technique I showed on the multi-city tutorial #14 it's much easier. There is an annotation leading to that video.

I'm on a shoreline region area and I tried the dig down left/right thing. I am not able to dig deep enough it seems. Someone has tested this and it seems to be working still. These features are in game with Cities XL. I agree its sad that Simcity didnt draw from that, but this is one of the many reasons I've decided to stick with Cities XL for my city building game.

Hey dude can we make this kind of a tunnel even after the latest update? I want to make the tunnel which isn't covered underground. It should just be deep but not covered with terrain on the top. I tried doing the way you showed on the video but i can't seem to lower the road.

It's in the game, there are railroad overpasses but the railroad tracks that you can lay down can't influence the land level. So no.

when i try to place a small piece the game will make the road flicker back and forth and wont let me place it its weird. ive done it before following this video now i cant seem to do it. with the high density streets the land wont raise or lower at all it just stays flat with the avenues i can get it to go up or down but only a few feet in the ground before the flickering starts happening. Im still giving it a go hopefully i can figure out why its doing it. plot maybe? its on a cliff

That depends on how much you like games like this. If you like SimCity 4 or SimCity 3000, Anno games then yes. If you never played games like this and don't like them, then no.
