Terranigma, known as Tenchi Sōzō (天地創造?, lit. "The Creation of Heaven and Earth")[1] in Japan, is a 1995 action role-playing game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System developed by Quintet. Manga artist Kamui Fujiwara is credited with the character designs. It was published by Enix (now Square Enix) in Japan before Nintendo localized the game and released English, German, French and Spanish versions in Europe and Australia. The game has never been officially released in North America. Terranigma tells the story of the Earth's resurrection by the hands of a boy named Ark, and its progress from the evolution of life to the present day.

If you look closely, the weapon graphic color isn't using the blue of the Ice pick you find in the castle. Bloody Mary resists Ice damage, so it is a lot more resilient in casual game than she ought to be if you simply keep the weapon with the highest attack value.

Use light rod in bloody mary its dealt damage,shes demon so you need lightrod for it

This game is completely easy when you grow up and realize the dash attack invincible frames, untouchable positions and opening Jewel Box when Dark Gaia uses his most powerful gravity-based 100% hit technique so you can wait for it to end without receiving any damage, but it's still one of the best games ever made. I would like to see these mechanics exploited more often in gameplays but would never get tired of it. Nice video!

The only issue I have with Terranigma is I feel like it's way too easy. Also, magic spells are kind of useless, because your normal attacks (especially dash attack, which is overpowered) are just that good and dismiss using spells completely (also, the game doesn't let you use spells against a lot of bosses, which is very bad imo). Aside from that, it's a 10/10 in every other aspect, but the lack of challenge really gets me...

I haven't seen many people exploit the dash attack. You can remain completely invulnerable if you time it right.

Yeah, the first mechanic I realized during my first playthrough was opening the Jewel Box while Dark Gaia used his ultimate technique (the one that fills the screen) so you can wait the animation to end and don't take any damage. The second time I played it I realized the invincible infinite dash attack and man it doesn't even kill the great experience of this game 👍🏻

yeah, it's one of the first things a somewhat experienced player notices when playing Terranigma. When I saw dash attack's potential, it kind of ruined the game for me, since Terranigma is already very easy and not challenging and became even easier after I discovered that.

I was questioning myself how come you’d suffer no damage from Dark Gaia’s light attack, the one you have to defend to take little damage. Answer is because you actually killed him before he do it 😂
