Terraria Is Back with its brand new and final update. Terraria version 1.4!!! Its added new content and fixed old terraria exploits including the last Terraria is a perfectly balanced game video where I managed to create an infinite item duplicator using an easy DIY setup. Todays Infinite money and Item Duplication exploit / glitch is actually even easier to pull of requiring only a wooden platform, a hammer and a shell. With all of these items you can duplicate an infinite amount of shells and sell them for great early game profit allowing you to buy as much as you like in game with your brand new infinite money glitch! @@joshcazille4280 start a multiplayer game, make sure auto save is off, and put the items you want to duplicate in an empty chest. press escape and alt + f4. join the world again in single player and you should have your items you put in the chest still your inventory, but they are also in the chest. this is very helpful for duplicating things like money, ammo and bars, because you double the amount of items you have every time you do it. you can also sell any extra bars for a lot of money. I'm pretty sure this has been in the game since the beginning and it still works.

@@thespiffingbrit Fair enough, I thought you where part of yogs at some point, wasn't sure if you still were or not since I don't see your channel listed in the "channels" tab of some of them like Duncan's channel but do see you listed on BlueXephos's channel (and yes I am aware it got rebranded as YOGSCAST Lewis & Simon instead of BlueXephos but the last time I watched them was before Simon's health issues it just hasn't been the same since, then again only reason I started watching them was because of TB which it is still odd to think of the fact that he died over two years ago almost to the day). But yes I do agree at least they tried to salvage the mess rather then so many other kickstarters that just took the money and ran away without saying anything when they ran into issues with inexperience of financing. Wasn't the first kickstarter who had zero experience with understanding actual real world costs as a pose to on paper costs and definitely wasn't the last either, it was just one of the more well known ones since they had quit the following in the day, most the failed ones where smaller less known people, sure there where some big names as well like Doublefine flubbing up Spacebase DF-9 but still.

The fastest way to make money in the beginning now is to buy a bug net and catch all the animals and bugs you can. They can stack up fast, when it's raining catch all the gold fish they are worth some coin. If you put the Arms dealer in the Oasis and you sit around and fish you can catch a TON of scorpions the black ones sell for the most. (Sell these to the Arms Dealer he will give you the most money for them.) It is a tedious thing but it does end up paying off. Another really good way is to get as much silt, slush, and desert fossil, (if you dare go into the desert underground. LOL) and run it through an Extractinator, then just sell all the ores, and gems, if you want. No one really covers this side of Terraria but I have over 11,000 hours in the game (doesn't include Modded Terraria) and this is a tried and true method. Have fun!!!

I've found another exploit to get money, however it's one that you need to be quite a ways into the game. The basic setup is that you need all of your accessory slots filled, and one extra accessory in your inventory. Also, one of them is either the Greedy Ring or the Discount Card (which can be a pain to get). But after getting all that, equip the Greedy Ring/Discount Card in your *first* accessory slot, then go and buy stuff from shops. Without leaving the shops, right-click your extra accessory so that it switches with the Greedy Ring/Discount Card, and then sell back the items you bought. You should get the money you spent back *and* an additional 25%. So if you spend 20 platinum coins, you can get back 25 platinum coins; this amount you get only starts capping out when you start running out of inventory space to hold all the vendor items. The best item to buy that I've found is the confetti cannon from the Party Girl, which costs 25 gold (before happiness is factored), and can be stacked up to 999, making each stack worth about 250 platinum. (Edited upon finding a more expensive item) Which gets to be a bit quicker than the seashell method that Spiff showed once you already have a fair bit of coinage at your disposal, although his is definitely better starting out.

Terraria is such a fantastic timesink. I love being thorough, and also shaping the world around me, often on the spot, and otherwise derp around and just have fun. After realizing liquids duplicate weirdly in some cases when you isolate and reopen exits for it, I ended up with almost a whole screen of honey - partly unintentional. Well, i tried to drain it and it just got bigger. *TLDR;* the whole underworld has now either honey or crisp honey blocks across it...

It's the last update to my favorite game, and I'm very excited to see what more they go on to make afterwards. It's okay to let some things properly end. Very few people want to work on the same piece of art for 10 years, game devs shouldn't be expected to do that, let them create more, not just refine and add to what they've been refining and adding to for years on end.

There's another duplication exploit that still works because its impossible to patch. You open terraria in two windows, use one character and open a different world on each window. In one window, put the item in a chest then save and exit, in the other, just save and exit. When you re enter the first world, the item with be both in your inventory and in the chest

@@asti5052 well... no you kinda suck actually... because this is only possible with a journey mode character and they can only access journey mode worlds, and vice versa. This glitch is also possible in the classic game.

There are other secret seeds with starting NPCs you can sell to: "05162020" has a Party Girl. "for the worthy" has a Demolitionist. Also, you can quick sell things by holding Ctrl; It's faster than manually moving each item into the shop window. As for this glitch, hard duping still works. You could potentially have 40 stacks of 999 platinum in less than 30 minutes with a new char.
