I’m imagining each and every zenith per class in the same way as the normal zenith. Just a combination of all the main weapons used, the summon just being all the staffs flying towards enemies. Or the ranger weapon shooting the guns themselves

Honestly.. the Meowmere is kind of disappointing for me. Before 1.4, I would always use the Star Wrath over it. It always seemed to preform better and it didn’t create that constant meowing sound effect.

I've personally always preferred the star wrath. It just feels more cool summoning a literal meteor shower. By all means I'll use meowmere if I get it first, but star wrath still tops for me.

You have a penchant for really timely video drops, at times where I'm waiting in the car or something. The late game is fantastic for options but it's so dense that so many things are just plain redundant or a novelty at best. Meowmere is absolutely one of them with the Zenith blade being a thing. Still fun though.

In my opinion, it would be more interesting if, instead of endgame weapons, we use the endgame accessories and armour for the most powerful buffs you can obtain so that any weapon of your choice will be buffed to hell to becoming the endgame weapon of your choice That would've made more sense considering the pillar weapons would match the armour sets paired with it as it's endgame gear And before anyone mentions Post Moon Lord mod progression let the Modders deal with that

I think on of the bigget issues with meowmere is the fact, that most players will have farmed most of the things that you can get in caves, dungeon, buildings and stuff, while meowmere is literally best in closed spaces with it's projectile getting bounced of walls And even if you do get to use it like that, beacause you are farming or trying to get or build something underground after all, then it does not really mater beacause DMG is so high that a few cat heads will bounce and that's it So basically biggest issue of that weapon is not having enough reason to exploit it's main mechanic, which probably only bored players do for fun to test some set ups with the walls, teleporters or like shimmer

“Short lived” don’t ask me how long it took me to craft my first Zenith. Plantera didn’t want to drop her sword, Moon Lord didn’t want to drop the Starfury or Meowmere but I got well acquainted with the meowmere once I finally got to the point of getting the pumpkin sword to drop which also took a ton of effort and time. Needless to say the Terrarian was the first melee drop I got. And then I just got mage weapon after made weapon after SDMG. I got a rod of discord, and a bunch of other actual low chance drops faster than I got the remaining end game swords. I don’t even want to imagine what it would have taken to get the zenith in master mode.

i use meowmere when i spawn in the moonlord and just spam them above me, they start to build up and then it literally DESTROIES the top eye in seconds, thats the only use ive found for the meowmere

This is literally my favorite weapon in the game, alongside sdmg with uzi. Even after I crafted zenith, I kept legendary meowmere at my hotbar. I love it. Hmm... Actually, its kinda strange I like weapons mostly considered not the best, like nebula arcanum, meowmere, plus components for nights edge except for weed sword, and also a piranha gun. I am not saying these weapons are bad, but I guess a lot of people will skip them mostly. Like what is the point of muramasa if you can just craft night edge? I will say "cuz its cool". Pitanha gun is pretty hard to get, but l dont care.

Tbh an easy way to make the zenith more difficult would be to require the flying dragon. It would make the zenith harder to obtain while also giving an actual reason to grind the OOA

Zenith is cool, But I like the simplicity of the Meowmere. It was my main weapon before Zenith came out... In fact, It still is, Considering I haven't gotten the Zenith yet- Haven't made it that far on my new Labor of Love character/world. But y'know. Those cat heads really put in work, And they actually go where you tell them to unlike Starwrath. And it isn't a yoyo.

Meowmere had is time to shine, like others end game weapon; now it's Zenith and when you think about it, post moonlord weapon like meowmere or zenith are you "bonus" weapon, since you have already completed the game and is just a fun way to play. But in my opinion, Zenith was way more popular then others weapon not because it's a hard craft with tons of damage or else, but because the weapon got all you want for a melee weapon : Cool animation, some range, easy to land on ennemy. Meowmere or old Terra blade on the contrary, with this unique projectile and close range was hard to use. And that's also why other gameplay like mage or ranger (thanks to chloro bullets) always was more popular than melee. It's also nice to see melee got some buffs and some weapons change. Now in 1.4, i really think all "class" got their own powerful end game set, with some good set along the way. Like obsidian armor for summoner, even with the nerfs.

Personally, after I get the Zenith I like to use it to get the weaker drops such as the Terrarian(unless I already have it). Even though the Zenith has the best damage, range and speed, what it doesn't have is everything that makes its components special... and it sure as hell isn't a sick ass yo-yo like the Terrarian no matter how much it moves like one.

tbh i dont see much reason to use anything past moonlord. what is there to do even? I kinda think it's sad that there is basically no real endgame content after Moonlord. I know the game already has plenty of content and it is well worth double its prize. anyways, I feel some items need more love and I dont mean more dmg. I think a rebalancing of the game's pacing would do wonders. many items are extremely quickly outdated some even before you can reasonably obtain them. pre hardmode desert items for example. totally cool item, would love to use them. but try navigating underground desert at a point where the desert items would still be upgrades in any way: impossible. worms insta kill you, cactus insta kills you and forget to seal yourself in and one of the antlions will charge at you and guess what: insta kill you. I don't feel like theres any reason to go to the ice biome in order to find items either. yea it has some nice items but all in all.. everyone just goes to the jungle asap which is far too easy for basically skipping all the content up until wall of dungeon/wall of flesh. in hardmode we dont utilise the hardmode ores at all, we rapidly progress to tier 3 then kill a mechanical boss and from there on out no more hardmode ores.
