Hey mate, great video. Tank looks incredible. Baby shrimp and possibly smaller adults will get through the grate, I guarantee it. They’re sneaky little buggers.. I use sponge to prevent any escapees.

I'm actually planning to make a planted shrimp nano tank once I move into my new apartment, and I'm gonna try and use an aquarium safe Dinosaur skull as a centerpiece, this video is one I'll have to watch again in a couple weeks when I set it up, but I was curious what the CO2 bubbler does for the tank besides just giving the plants more CO2, or if that's just its only job

It’s just for the plants & the shrimps will still thrive without it:)

oh my gosh I finally found the perfect example for the size tank I have!!! Except mine is actually a 25x25x40cm terrarium that has the capability of holding roughly 3 gallons of water since the door is at 20cm height!!! I've been wanting to make a paludarium build for ages but I wasn't sure if I would be able to keep shrimp in a tank that size, so this makes me really happy!!! Thank you so much!!

So beautiful!!! Please, continue with more of these shining small gems. But I'm really curious about how to clean them:weekly-how, maybe monthly-something different to do?....and so on. And I'd like to see it after a couple of months/years, with the focus on algaes, because of a lot of really hardly accessible corners in such a nice aquascape. Thank you very much.

How about a blue or orange dwarf crayfish build? I believe there's also a green, Cajun crayfish? I forget the name... I just recived a male and female Mexican Dwarf Orange crayfish, can't wait until they breed and she has eggs! ❤❤❤ I got the pair for my husband for Father's Day, he used to have a crayfish years ago when he was younger that a burd dropped into his yard, so he made it a tank. 😂

That's pretty close to what my nano tank looks like. Just using a builtin filter though. Pretty sure you're going to need another solution to block the filter intake when the shrimp start breeding. Bought 5 tiny shrimp in the store and turned out there was a black/dark one amongst them. Didn't notice it at first so now there's a mix of mostly red and dark brown with a yellow back. The babies like the java moss.
