Thanks for the video. Just a suggestion, when you'd like to smoothen the silicone glue, dip your finger into soapy watwr beforehand. Not just the glue won't stick, but it will be a loot smoother on the edge

Looks like a beautiful tank. Quick tip for the silicone. Once u have applied your bead of silicone, spray with a soap and water solution and use a popsicle stick to scrap off any excess. Its cleaner and leaves a solid, smooth bead.

THANK YOU for clearly showing how to build terrariums for ourselves! I'm in the USA. For two months, I've visited practically every aquarium and petshop in my area. I viewed countless online aquarium shops too. Not only were there no sizes available for the sizes I wanted [there are few options via these mass-produced tanks], but the unhappy reviews about the selections gave me pause. So, I reached out to three companies that make custom-sized tanks -- but the cost quotes were very high. Maybe spending the money for a custom-made, 45 gallon, full-water aquarium (for tropical fish) makes sense: the water pressure and weight needs strong corner seals. But, for a terrarium with minimal or no deep water -- I can now build one myself ... THANKS to you!

Spraying soapy water on the bead as well as your finger helps to prevent the silicone from sticking where it shouldnt and helps to even it out. Soapy ice cream stick works great aswell.

When it comes to cutting glass I also found that once you get the flow of it you can even just cut it by pretty much just lifting it up, atleast with the glass cutter I use and glass I use it's that simple. And even if it doesn't apart that simply and it breaks crooked you can just chip off the excess part that stayed there with the back of the cutter, that simple. If anyone is hesitating on trying to make terrarium, don't it's easy, fun and relaxing.

not really, after seeing this video i bought some picture frames from the thrift store and bought a glass cutter and it honestly is way easier than i thought. The only thing was that my ruler kept moving around, but that was a quick fix with some dubble sided tape.

You have amazing skills! Beautiful scape, and thank you for showing the process of cutting and assembling the glass. The only thing I'd change, is to somehow hide the bank of the stream, because it doesn't look very natural. Maybe cover it with some small rocks, or more moss? Other than that, everything looks perfect!

You can use the other end of your glass cutter to tap the piece you're cutting in half. I would just lift it a few off of the table, use the back side of the the tool, and tap upwards. I learned that technique in this glass studio class that I took, plus you'll probably want a square carpet mat. The carpet mat prevents the tiniest glass from rolling off of the table. Love your videos. I can't wait to try and make a mini pond for my little art studio.

while it is possible to keep red centipedes in a terrarium, it should not be fully sealed. Providing adequate ventilation and monitoring environmental factors are essential to ensure the wellbeing of the centipede and any other inhabitants.

Hey can you make a not natural terrarium. So dont make it Look so natural dont make every flower everywhere so no natural Look. Make a full Planed and perfect planed terrarium with plants and moss with which it wont Look wild and so, for example with this really Slow growing moss and flowers which will not change much. When there is a big stone Formation you often spread some little stones around to make it Look more natural and i think it would be an interesting video doing the oposite so dont spread little stones around it make it really planed and separate the different parts of it fe stones moss plants wood water
