if possible can you make one with scorpion (i don't know if they can live in marsh habitat like centipede since there are many varieties of them but just a request. as a terrarium and aquarium lover would like to see something out of the usual like the centipede one... ) thanks buddy your works and way of explaining stuffs is awesome.
@paulopaniago59727 ай бұрын
I'm a biologist, but unfortunately, I don't have much experience with vivariums. From the few things I know, I guess it would be possible to make an ecosystem for scorpions, although it would be hard for it to work in such a small space. There are pseudo scorpions that are perhaps better suited for that, although they are too small to be interesting. Also, scorpions tend to be partenogenetic, and males are quite rare, but if you want to avoit them from reproducing, you might be limited to using only a male (depending on the species of scorpions).

I'm not a fan of fine sand in terrariums. But you've done gorgeous work as always. It's my favorite kind of videos where you're making a nanocube or something of this scale, it really helps me get ideas and inspiration for my next build in 10L aquarium which I've been postponing for quite some time.

Hey Terrarium Designs! My name is Lorenzo, yesterday I watch a video talking about terraruims, and I confess that I loved that. Today I start to search how to make your oun tarrarium, and I found u! Your awesome, your work is very well done. Watching your videos I will start to make. But I need anwsers. I live in the south of Brazil, in a island call Florianopolis. And the nature here is wonderful, so I don't want to buy the materials. So my question is, can I make my terraruim using materials from the forest? What kind of thinks I can use? Specifically the ground u use in the nozzle., I really need to use all u said? I hope you'll read and returns me. Thank you so muchh!

Awesome build! I've been watching a few of your videos and I have a question about adding a waterfall. I'm trying to build a vampire crab paludarium and I've seen several examples where the base is the leca to help with the drainage, which makes total sense. But in order for the waterfall to work, would you need the sponge layer first and then the leca, followed by the screen barrier/weed barrier? In other waterfall builds of different creators, it seems like a sponge layer is needed for the pump to pull the water through and over.

Hi, fantastic video as always! I have a few questions for you. I have a big glass container that fits about 2 litres and i want to make a terrarium out of it. Originally it was used to fit a huge amount of booze and it has an extremely long and narrow entry (about 10 inches). So i cant fit anything more than substrate and substrate for the drainage layer, small moss parts, small sticks and stones etc... The tricky part is, that i wont ever get anything out of it since the entry is that long and narrow so i cant fit most plants and if it fits i can only place it in the very center of the bowl. Also later i cant cut any plants ever. Are there maybe any plant seeds i can pour into the terrarium that you would recommend?

2 questions: does the centipede have to be a brown garden centipede or any species. also will the centipede manage the isopods making sure that they don't over produce or die out?
