This might be the best example of the media's dislike of a player and their attempt to derail their life. T.O. is somebody that the media really wanted to fail in every aspect of his life financially

About time T.O got his respect but I know T.O don't care at this point in his life just wants his check from the NFL that long over do

Glad T.O. is finally in! I remember when the 49ers & Raiders back in the 90s early 2000s. Him and Charles Woodson had some battles!

EVerything you said on O.J. the juice was dead on! In my opinion and its just my take it is about a dead tie as to who was the best ever at RB and they both ran behind shit lines their whole careers it would be Barry Sanders and of course the the 2000 yard rusher in in 14 games behind a shitty line in Buffalo da Juice...

That horse collar hurt us with winning the super bowl that and not running the ball with Brian Westbrook all running screen please like we was most of the season but Terrell Owens still scored a touchdown with screws in its foot McNabb never stood by Terrell Owens and that's what caused Discord in the locker room Terrell Owens wanted to get paid McNabb wanted to be the face of the franchise and seem like he can do without Terrell Owens and we never sniffed another Super Bowl with McNabb

Jason whitlock carries the ultimate envious spirit in him. Especially towards the outgoing and self aggrandizing black athletes. Notice how he always uses 'character' as the argument against these guys, for example: Terrell Owens getting into HOF, Kobe Bryant having #8 and #24 retired with the lakers, Floyd Mayweather being #TBE or the legitimacy of his fight against McGregor.... He argues like a female the way he brings their past allegations, personality traits, etc is why these guys arent as great as they really are. Sometimes whitlock is unbearable because you can pick up on that envious spirit from time to time and he spends the rest of the segment pulling shit out of his ass to substantiate his arguement...

I'm happy for the man. why would you ignore what he's done on the field? personal is personal. if it's not in the criteria why make it an issue?

The headline yells, "OWENS FINALLY IN..." What the f#ck? Did I miss something? How many years has he been eligible and excluded, like 7? (3!) 10? (3!). Do you know how many of the greatest players that ever lived have had to wait years to become Hall of Fame players. A lot of them. Coaches and Broadcasters too. You don't think that the sportswriters, the only real HOF voters, are not going to exact some sort of revenge on T.O. for his interaction with them and his perception as a malingering cancer on each team he was with, in addition to his extraordinary on-field skill and talent. Maybe he didn't deserve to wait at all. Maybe he was misunderstood and should have been a player-coach. Maybe he was more committed than Walter Payton. Maybe we should change the name of the Super Bowl Winner champion's trophy from the "Lombardi Trophy" to the "Owens Trophy".

Well deserved! The dude was a force of nature; who went through a pretty sad and confusing upbringing to entertain us for many years! Also, excellent point on Whitlock. All I hear is people call him Coonlock, Uncle Tom, etc. He's polarizing...and that's a good thing!

follow up - i was in Canton the same year as Leroy Selmon (first Seahawk first Buccaneer); I was at that hof event. Newt Gingrich was riding Largent's jock and was part of his entourage that whole weekend! Everywhere they went, idiot fans were screaming Gingrich's name like it was a bad parody of the old Arsenio Hall Dog Pound...Jacksonville and Carolina played in the HOF game.

know413J1S We should have won that super Bowl our defense was always during that time ( rip Jimmy Johnson). That’s why I blame Mcnabb puking in the huddle and Andy Reid bad play calling( he never wanted to stick with the run doing that West Coast offense shit).

Fam do a little more on T.O and the child support stuff it’s a lot out there on that and the reality show when he was crying about the white broad T.O. Is a interesting story but as a receiver he was the most physically gifted not the best hands but fierce and extremely extraordinarily gifted Jery Rice’s hands were better ran better routes but T.O was so big and strong and fast he didn’t have to focus on route running Dez Bryant is similar to T.O. And Michael Irvin but Irvin was not as physically gifted as Dez Bryant or T.O but more of a gamer than Dez in my opinion more mentally tough as far as football Troy aikman was better than Mc Nabb & Romo Romo held Dez back and T.O the throws Romo made to winton were average it’s easy to throw to tight end when you have a Irvin or Dez or T.O safety has to focus on the big play guy T.O made Jason Winton not Romo Romo didn’t have the composure he’d get to nervous games were bigger than him he was sort of gifted athletically tho but wasn’t there mentally you can’t keep getting to the big moment and failing and be considered great.
