Big difference between garage sales and flea markets. Very different. Especially when someone's moving and they almost give things away at garage sales. Flea markets seller have to pay a fee to sell and are there just to make money.

I'm with you Mike, i like the flea markets with all the old stuff, because you can find some good stuff. I used to go with my grandpa to estate sales before he passed away, and you can find some good there to. This flea market might have been a bust, but you make it fun with your humor and commentary. You should get your mom a gift card so she can pick out a new hand bag. IT'S hard to buy something like a hand bag for a woman, so i don't blame you for not getting her one. You could leave it for her to find when you leave for LA as a surprise, because i know you will both be a little sad when you go. I like that your mom understands that you have to live your life, but knows that you will always visit, and get on the zoom to talk to her regularly. With you tube being your job, it's nice that you can fly over to see your mom and travel to other places. Much love to you GIV from a lady in Michigan. G-d bless you and mom.

Our flea markets in Northern California are the same. Too much new stuff. I can buy that crud myself if I want new. I'm like you, I'm looking for what people pulled out of their garages or addicts to sell it flea markets. Now it's more like your shopping at a store with new stuff. But instead of selling it in a store they are saving money and selling new stuff at flea markets. Needless to say, I don't waste my time anymore at most flea markets. You're looking healthy and good GIV.

Random comment, but I went to go to the michael jackson cemetary for the first time today! I tried to go see his father too but the doors were shut, but I did see a lot of flowers near his father's grave. I think tito was buried near the father, the flowers looked recent as if it just happened. Just a thought

In early 90s and 2000s german fleamarkets were great. Today, only commercial sellers, arabs only and a feeling like in a standard slavic, arab or chinese basar. But ok, it is cause whole germany is broken. I only go to fleamarkets when a small town make a "Dorfflohmarkt". There are no commercial sellers and you find more good stuff. Forgot all "fleamarkets" in front of a supermart or in a bigger town.
