Terrifier 3 Movie Review - Out of theater quick reaction. We just left the theater after watching the new Terrifier Christmas (Terrifier 3). It was definitely an experience but not one we all agreed on.

Yeah, it's funny, but I have no urge to see any of the 'Terrifier' movies and I own plenty of horror movies (hundreds including classic iconic horror movies from the 30s to the 80s).

Loved this film. Watched the 1st and 2nd the night before at cinema on a double feature. 2 nights of terrifier films, amazing.

No judgements, I just can't get into these movies because they are over to the top gory for no reason. My mind doesn't work that way and I don't understand how others enjoy that kind of stuff lol

Because it's so over the top that it becomes black comedy. Kind of like Happy Tree Friends or some fatalities in the game series Mortal Kombat.

I’m a fan of Terrifier 2 but holy hell that movie would have greatly benefited from better editing and shaving 20 minutes off the runtime. There’s various scenes that are bizarrely long while adding zero to the story. Pretty stoked to see this tomorrow, though!

I simply do not get the appeal of these movies

The appeal for it is in how excessive and over the top it is. It's so over the top that it basically becomes a cartoon. Which adds an element of dark comedy. Especially with Art as a character doing a lot of physical mime-like comedy. At the end of the day It's in the shock horror sub genre. Which is excess by design. Some people like that kind of intensity in horror movies. But, it's not a genre for everyone. It's not even a genre that all horror fans like. Different strokes.

I couldn't get through the first. It's an exercise in how gory you can be. It's like The Aristocrats but with a homicidal clown.

Same do not understand the hype. I am streaming the 1st one now. It's all brutal and gore with no real suspense or scary story.

I have seen 3 yet but Terrifier 2 compared to 1 is like Terminator 2 compared to 1. It’s much more epic, much more crazy, it spends its time with the characters and has more of a mainstream tone (but it’s still insanely gory).

@@BillyB386 Get over yourself. They went to far when the killer is killing kids with an axe and blowing kids up with a bomb. Also when the killer cuts a guy in half with a chainsaw and they show the guy getting his dick and ass cut off. It's going to far. 20 people walked out they were so upset by what they saw. I have every right to my opinion. That's why they call it reviews.
