The plane guy sounded like he was flying around the base, then he saw an F-16 fire up and take flight. Later he describes seeing one and you can here a big whoosh at 16:05. You can infer that the pilot of the f-16 flew in front of him so the ground control could keep an eye on the pilot of the radio guy. He also describes something with a big barrel coming out of the ground, shooting at him, and then it gets cut off. So my theory is that he was flying low, another plane started tailing him to keep his position estimated, and they lifted a turret out of the ground to make sure he stays away. The tear in the wing in the picture is probably where he was hit and it stayed so quiet on the internet and in the public because the government doesn’t want to admit that they shot down a veteran for flying his plane out in Nevada.

I don't even think it is that they don't want to admit to shooting someone down. He was clearly revealed to be trying to infiltrate area 51, not just out for a casual flight unaware of what he was doing. They probably don't want to admit it is real because that opens up security risk info. They charted the estimated flight path based on his details so it would reveal the location of the "rail-gun" that "comes up out of the ground/elevator" and has a "weird looking barrel that looks like a light". Who knows how much of that info is part of top-secret shit.

I had a friend/roommate who told me a story about a friend of his who hiked around Area 51, and later met this friend of his who also told a group of us the same story several years later (the group was a D&D game night). As the story goes, first off- this guy has uncannily terrible luck. Secondly, as stated, he was hiking around Area 51, but without the intention of actually going to the base. However, he got lost, and eventually a white van pulled up to him and a couple of security officers got out and told him that he'd come onto base property deep enough to require escort off of the property. He gladly accepted their ride out of this area, happy to be back on marked hiking trails, and thanked them for their help in returning to where he had actually intended to be. A few hours later, he again found himself lost, and saw the white van in the distance, approaching, and though bashful about the fact he'd again wandered into an area he wasn't supposed to be, he was thankful to be directed back to his intended hike... except that's the last he remembered of the experience until he woke up where he had initially been delivered. No recollection of meeting back up with these guys, or the ride back to safety. He got lost a third time, and this time didn't even see the van or any sign of anyone approaching, just woke up in the same spot he'd been delivered now twice before. It was at this time he decided to discontinue his hiking of the area and just leave.

Great video. However, Id like to answer your question about why the Police/CTUs didn't storm the plane on its first landing. Most CTUs were formed in response to political unrest, terrorist attacks, and crimewaves in the mid 1970s, a few years after DB Cooper's hijacking. So these specialized groups who could have handled the situation simply didn't exist yet. Also, hijacking planes hadn't become such a regular occurrence yet and due to that, the sentences for such a crime were not as heavy as they might be today.

Their family called the Alaska State Troopers who started a search. While searchers gathered, the local news released a plea to the public. Had a master sergeant 3rd recon marine tell me he had been inside of area 51. The story he told me was quite interesting. From what he saw, what he heard, that in 1994, the male was still alive but trapped. How it used telepathy. That the female and child has died in the crash. How the soldier had an overwhelming sensation to let it out. That it's fingers were easily 6 inches longer than his. This man told me this in Florida in 2014. The story has always stuck with me, especially when he described it's appearance. Some of me wants to think he's crazy, but the most part of me believes his account. The way he said, whoever made this particular movie, has been in area 51. That's really the only thing that made me question his story. But how often do they hide the truth in movies?

I had very negative views of Area 51 back in the day and stopped having these negative views once I understood the importance of keeping the secrecy going on there. A few years ago I suggested replacing the black vans with white ones. Somebody listened and now legend has it just white vans are used. I was thinking about the heat. The people at Area 51 envy us the people in Iceland, because we have cold air and very clean water. I have learned from the story of Area 51 that bullying is horrifying and that is why I stopped talking about it. The wonderful people at Area 51 taught me that Iceland is amazing and unique, and I became more interested in the study of the English language, and in math and physics, in particular in the physics of light for drawing and painting. As someone who once was on alert to go assist a plane with mechanical issues, including some of their weapons systems, at A-51...the sheer amount of shit we were going to be subjected to was insane. The strict adherence to procedure, which included but wasn't limited to being blindfolded for the entire trip from take off at Nellis until we were entirely inside and closed up inside a 'hangar' which wouldn't be above ground...not allowed to venture even to the door to leave the hangar and blindfolded everytime we left the hangar to go back to our quarters and such. We didn't end up being required as they managed to get the plane squared away enough without help, but I've no idea what they did. You learn little pieces of details here and there from things that were let slip but nothing concrete and certainly nothing that can be proven. So I have no idea about most things involving that place, they could host actual aliens every evening at rock concerts held in the depths and I'd have no idea, I DO know that they develop and test technology there and that's not even a big deal because they do that on tons of bases throughout the world. Struck me as odd that people seemed to think that the guards wouldn't just shoot them if they joined together and ran with the 'they can't stop all of us' mentality because they can and will and even if they didn't you'd never make it inside the actual interior which requires ID that can't be faked without exact knowledge of how its constructed from Start to finish and even then you'd still be hardpressed to gain any real access because everyone there would recognize that you weren't one of the people they've seen and they weren't briefed on someone new arriving and seeing/memorizing your ID before you ever got there. So yea, don't try to go there. It won't end well at all. Not for you, not for the poor bastards that have to shoot you, just don't do it.

DB Cooper still had the flight crew hostage. The authorities never expected him to jump out of the plane. Jets fly VERY fast, and there aren't many airliners you can safely jump out of. Well one, actually... the 727. Not only can it fly slower than any of the other airliners of the day with full flaps, it also had a stairway that lowered from the tail, and it could be lowered during flight. This was the only option to avoid being sucked into an engine or struck by the stabilizer on the way out. Even then he jumped from a plane moving twice as fast as the planes skydivers usually jump from. So it was assumed he'd have to get off the plane at some point, on the ground, and that was safest for the flight crew.
