10:35 True I once had a game where i had lots of small island, so i decided to spectate.Then someone took almost the entire world (only leaving some island), then he left (i dont know why).I immediately began naval invading about 10 places and won.

I won a world map of territorial io as I spawned in the Caribbean and island-hopped carefully, eventually taking all islands in th Atlantic, Arctic and Indian Oceans; then the world empire got bored of clicking every single island and left and left and I took his land faster than the other island empire, and then fought him off.

As for "crazy tactics"- once I've had a player wanting to have an alliance with me in 1 vs 1 game and sending upset emojis that I attacked him! XD Another time there were 3 players left on the map- one stronger than the other two and the other two of us. The third player, instead of attacking the strongest player along with me, kept attacking me. The geometrical situation on the map was so that if I fell, the strongest player would have taken a much bigger chunk out of me than him, effectively giving the third player 0 chance to win the game, while the biggest player falling would give him a chance because we were near equal firstly and secondly you never know if the biggest player falling will decide to suicide attack me, making it easy for the third player to take out us both in the end. The best thing, when I decided to retaliate and attack the 3rd player, he showed an arrow to me to attack the biggest guy. LOL, you have the audacity to expect me to attack others for your benefit after you just have screwed the game for both of us the moment before by deciding to co-operate against me rather than with me for 0 tactical benefit to yourself.

If you are slightly stronger than one of your neighbors, it sometimes makes sense to focus on them and leave other neighbors alone because it gives you the opportunity to get a snowball-like advantage. This is especially the case when the neighbor you are attacking can only reasonably expand at your expense. That being said, it was a bad idea for the guy in Africa to keep attacking you when his neighbor was very weak like that.

10:50 Idk about anyone else but whether I leave, wait for death, or suicide on someone depends on the game. I will suicide on someone if they have been essentially throwing the game for both of us forcing me to lose in a way that doesn't benefit them. I figure they screwed me so I will screw them back it's only fair. If me leaving won't cause a significant change in rankings then I will leave. If me leaving causes undeserving players to gain land then I will wait it out. I guess I just feel like it is the way you can sort of make things more fair when your fate is determined ya know. Not that it really matters all that much lol

I do the same pretty much, except if I want to leave and no one screwed me earlier I'll suicide against the strongest player I can reach to keep the game more even.

I suicide: - when someone screwed me in a situation that would be pretty good for me otherwise - pointed an arrow at me and made others attack me when I would not be a logical target otherwise- then I at least make sure he is the one who's benefitted the least (it's sort of a biological instinct, I think, like a hurt animal knows it's not going to survive but at least gets aggresive and makes attacking it as costly as possible so that predators that decide to attack creatures like his relative it will be at an evolutionary disadvantage to benefit his relatives) - there's one player on the map who's MUCH stronger than all others, so I can at least make it a little harder for him and possible for others to win at all But I've received many suicide attacks in my game. Sometimes I get suicide attacked out of nowhere- by a player who I never attacked before and while not being the strongest in the area- it's just looks like some people just want to screw some random players.

@@abc68130 - suiciding the strongest player you can reach will not necessarily keep the game more even. You can end up suicide attacking the only player who could put up some resistance to the strongest player on the map. You can make it easier for the strongest player on the map by hindering his opposition. I encourage you to look at the bigger picture in the future before suicide attacking innocent players!

Off the start try using 90-100% of your resources for your first 2 expansions. Nobody is usually close enough to attack and the initial land bonus will put you ahead.
