I always start with light incline dumbbells .. I’ll do 45-100lbs. Then hit decline dumbbells … then back to incline with heavy drop sets .. then over head rows laying on a flat bench. I Finish with either peck deck or cable flies. Been doing this for about 3 months it’s pretty solid

Now that I'm older I can't put pressure on my thumbs anymore to do push-ups. I always pull a muscle in my thumb then I'm out for a few weeks. My weight needs to be distributed evenly throughout my palm

Another way of saying “pump”,is by telling people to get as much blood flow into a particular muscle group. The best is when u can see the skin over the muscle u are working turn red. Great job,and I am following.

I’d just rather do decline I can add more load and reps without any stabilization worries, it’s more efficient.

@@TerronBeckham dips actually do have a pretty good loading potential and a better rom for the chest, but they do have a higher skill curve. Decline bench does work but unless you have a wider wingspan you can’t get a lot of rom. It’s useful for using it to go a bit heavier or go around shoulder problems but I wouldn’t say it’s a must for chest development.

Decline hits the chest fully? Man you playin’. Flat bench hits fully and the worst chest exercise is decline.

Lol no flat doesn’t think about the alignment of flat chest vs decline the motion of decline is upwards from bottom of chest to clavicles flat is just mid to clavicle. You can literally find many studies on this with ekg monitors involved.

It’s about putting Maxx effort into the exercise. It’s more than technique so it does matter, if your already pre fatigued before you get to your worst lift why would that lift become better ??
