Goddamn I love Terry Reid. This man is a living legend and DOES NOT get half the respect he deserves as an artist, guitarist and songwriter! This song is beautiful! Thank you Terry Reid, for making such stunning music!

I fucking love Terry Reid and am in respect as well as being glad that he never joined other bands after the split as He stands alone as a true artist and forever timeless.

Never heard of Terry until Devil's Rejects, but sure glad I did. Amazing how an artist who worked so closely with so many big bands is largely unknown. A true example of a man who loves making music more than making the big bucks. Can't wait to see him April 10 on Long Island!

Goddamn this song is so perfect. I've been looking for it for the past 3 years since I bought the devil's rejects dvd but could never find it. I finally found it. Great song.

wow. the singing blows me away. that's the greatest singing performance i've ever witnessed, especially when he gets toward the end and he lets loose with all that power. i can't think of anything close except for a John Coltrane solo or a drut teental composition played by Nikhil Banerjee, may they both rest in peace. thank you Mr. Reid and GoodGigVids-san for this inspirational work of art.

Damn I wish I'd seen Terry in his prime and that the album "seed of memory" had taken off". Absolutely terrific album that deserved so much more.

Amazing version, god bless Terry and thank you for posting Brave Awakening Mother I fear for the laddies There ain't much more coal to go down to There ain't much more soul To get round to Not anymore Mother I hear for the laddies Ain't much more soul to get round to Lessening of companies that are finding Things to bind to it anymore I'd hate to just realise why That company's getting so shy The bairns don't have get-togethers Round here not anymore Mother I hear for the laddies Talking 'bout going on down to The town where the money's just bound to Surely just ease the door It's happening all over the city There ain't much more doubt To get down to Lessening of reasons That can send you Back down for more They're telling their sisters of why Feelings that pass them close by All that they seek Is what they're wanting to keep And it's glistening right there in their eyes So mother I fear for the laddies Father says no one goes down to The face of some mine no boy of mine's Gonna be bound to, anymore The future, a brave new awakening Have to no more go back down to The bowels of this earth that will take you Away from home and more

Saw Terry tonight at Mirelle's in Westbury, NY. AMAZING show would be an understatment. Terrific, funny, and down to earth guy too. He was hanging out and having drinks with us before the show. Check him out in New Orleans on April 25 at the Jazz Festival at One Eyed Jacks.

It's sad cuz a lot of the younger folk really haven't heard Terry until he started getting put on some soundtracks like Wonderland and The Devil's Rejects. He really is a rare find in classic rock. Great musician and fantastic singer. Glad he didn't take that position to sing for Zeppelin when Page asked him back when he was pulling the band together to create Zeppelin. But it's a possibility that Plant would never have teamed up with Page and the rest of the band had Terry not suggested Plant..

The song on the end credits is "Seed of Memory" which is also posted up on youtube. The songs by Terry on the soundtrack are "Brave Awakening" and "To be Treated"

It just blows my mind to think that if it weren't for this gentleman who you got admit, not A LOT of people know about, those classic bands we know and love wouldn't really be the kind of bands as we know them today. Led Zeppelin & Deep Purple would be very different if Terry Reid had accepted to be apart of them. Robert Plant wouldn't be a part of Zeppelin or Ian Gillan wouldn't have been with Deep Purple. But what an amazing career this man has had!

Knew of Terry Reid and, due to being advised of his birthday, 13th Nov.I did some investigation. I had always connected him with The Hollies, for some reason, I had assumed he played with The Hollies for a while. Obviously wrong information. This link to Wikipedia, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_Reid gives the full story, accuracy? I don't know, but certainly Terry has been flying under the radar for most of his career, regrettably never getting above the parapet. Terry, I love your work.

He is respected among his more famous peers. Beach Boys, Graham Nash, Mick Jagger, Robert Plant, Aretha Franklin, you don't get much better than that.

The whole DR soundtrack is great but if you are looking for the terry just get the album seed of memory, it has all the soundtrack songs and is well well worth it for the extra songs not on the soundtrack. You don't need to rebuy freebird or midnight rider anyways, do you?

what the hell is he saying? i love this song but it sounds like he almost forgot every other word and verse of this song and just mumbled and babbled the whole time.

He wrote the song. He didn't forget the words, he's been singing it so long.
