Terry's final song from Dingwalls, London 24/9/06. I definitely had 'the sun in my eyes' that night! What a star. From the album Seed of Memory go get it here and all his other albums www.amazon.co.uk/Seed-Memory-T...

FOUND on line copy of The Rolling Stones letter to Terrys parents(pull Terry(age 15) out of school to go on Rolling Stones, Cream tour. If he should put out his autobiography the stories he has. Just check out all his interviews thru the yrs. His friend Joe Bonomassa has a great one.Course he has one of Terry's in his guitar collection.love Terry Reid!

Come back to America one more time Terry PLEASE!!!! As much as I would LOVE to see you in a small pub in Britain I really can't afford it. Tell you what...if you come out you can stay with my wife and I and have some home cookin, and you will be "treated right" I missed you when you played Santa Monica and have been kicking myself ever since. Thanks for all the wonderful music.

How many people could even sing this song at all? Terry's natural syncopation is just out of this world! Try counting 1, 2, 3, 4 to this all the way through the song. Then add the passion he puts into the song. He even hits his notes. Is there ANY singer today who is comparable to Terry Reid? If there is I haven't heard of such a singer.

Brave dreams that are kindled from ashes Rise out over all the battle below Spread wings over all that he passes So his life can stay immortal to his country All the shades of green that fall beneath this tree So let the winds of change that rearrange the country Let it also sow a seed of memory Marlena in the cool satin sashes Spread dreams over the battle below Bring love with a song as she passes So his life can stay immortal to the country And let every man aware of being free Mmm, when she talks of times when wine is handed to me From a face that walked out of a memory And now that the battle is done And you wake up in the morning With the sun up in the sky Summer never gives you no warning then Flowers are getting thrown up to cover the mud up on the line Valleys getting greener and there's Nothing but love on your mind Brave dreams that are kindled from ashes Rise out over the battle below Spread wings over all that he passes So his life can stay immortal to the country Other shades of the green that brought for me a victory But the winds of change, have rearranged this country Let in also sow the seed of memory, yeah Let it always sow the seed of memory, yeah Let it always sow the seed of memory, yeah Songwriters Reid Terence James Published by HOUSE OF DREAMS MUSIC LTD. Terry Reid opened for Cream at The Baltimore Civic Center way the Hell back in the late 60's, and was mezmerizing. "Season of the Witch" was haunting. Just TR, an organist and a drummer. Forty years ago and I can remember that night. So glad I lived through and experienced the music of the 60's and 70's. Nothing like it!

People seem to be justifying why they are complementing this "old man" LOL... Maybe just unaware he is a highly accomplished musician who was Jimmy Pages FIRST CHOICE FOR Vocals for the New Yard Birds which later became Led Zeppelin. He was under contract and couldnt join but recommended Robert Plant. The rest is history! Oh, he also had to turn down Deep Purple for vocals. So yeah, it's a bit amusing to see comments of those surprised on how good this "old man" is!!!
