I attended this gig and was fortuitous to be present at the sound check. There was no rehearsal of this song. What you are experiencing is pure impromptu and unadulterated talent from Terry and Eddie. Masterclass.

My band backed Terry on this tour. The guitar player Ed Rainey had never played the song before, as we hadn't rehearsed it. Terry just went for it with Eddie filling in. Subsequently, Eddie learned it and kills it. Terry is a good friend and a unbelieveable soul. That's why he sounds so damn good. He has "it" times 100! A musicians musician and brilliant songwriter, who isn't stuck up or full of himself, but really humble and genuine. I can't wait to make music with him again..Cheers

@1180jrock i was at that show. Blessed to be up front sharing the show with a stranger. Always heard "they dont make them like that anymore" and never really felt that truth until i saw Terry and met him.

Also found through Zombie,I really wish music lovers would never speak of a musicians drug habit or addiction in a negative manner. We all have addictions and a lot of music is better because of their addictions. He definitely does not need accompaniment for any of his songs. There is one posted of him playing To be Treated Right Old Town Hall Gateshed. Its Amazing...

One of those characters more famous for what he didn't do (front Led Zeppelin or Deep Purple, both of which were offered), than what he did- a very gifted musician.

At 2:20 to 2:40 that is as passionate as music can be created. My spina cord sent a shock of LSD from days long forgotten all through my temporarily shivering body. At 60 years old he decimates all of today's poor excuses.

I know that it sounds strange to say it--and like some sort of gross hypebole--but Terry Reid's stunning ballad, "To be Treated Right" is probably the best song ever written. Bar none. Period. Full stop. Forget about it.

I love this song, and I think the lad did his best. I mean, I'm just chillin' and drinking some wine, and my experience wasn't corrupted by the accompaniment.

everyone is always asking if terry is drunk when he plays....well i saw terry at bb kings in ny and yes he does drink throughout the show and tell some funny ass stories but i didnt think he was drunk..just drunk on music, the man genuinely loves to play for people, he was more into the show than the bunch of college kids who played before him, we are just not used to artists playing with passion in todays "how much money can i make today" music. keep on rockin terry
