First saw Terry on The Old Grey Whistle Test and that was it, I was hooked! What a powerhouse of a voice and so unique. That was in the early 70s and I'm still listening to him today. Such a great guy. Keep rocking Terry.

Yes. He was one of the candidates, but he was just busy touring with The Rolling Stones and introduced Robert Plant and John Bonham instead.

@@bcrichbass1987 the reason he couldn't join Zeppelin was because he was in a contract already with epic records. The same reason why he had to turn Ritchie Blackmore down for the spot in deep purple.
