I randomly catch myself reminding myself he’s still alive every time I listen to him. He just had such legendary style writing. I hate seeing him this old…but I’m glad to see him still at it. I guess we all gotta get there some time!

Sounds pretty good to me, considering all those non filtered cigarettes he has smoked over the years. He'll, a weekend partying with Bowie would add a couple of years right there. 😊

God how i love him. Was born in 78 so i am 45 now.. about to be 46 and this man and his hauntingly beautiful songs have followed me. His voice does not waver, though it may have gotten older. Still one of the best in my books!

I lived in Brampton as a child in the 60s went to school in Huntigdon years later moved to St.Ives when I was in my 20s - I missed seeing him live but proud that we produced such a legendary singer.

Can u imagine being the back up band catching up and keeping time with Terry? He’s so animated I love it. His voice is so awesome. I got to see him do Seed, Treated Rite, and Brave Awakening. Such a great and powerful artist.

What a lot of younger people dont understand about music from the 70s musicians voices change so they change the way the song is to accommodate their deeper voices.Terry has always been known for playing the song differently but with pure emotion.This sounds great

Heartbreaking. Terry had all the ingredients to be huge, but he just never got there. Seeing him play dive bars to keep the lights on at the tail end of his life is crushing

This is not a dive bar and the gig was absolute magic. I guess you don’t know about the history of the Pioneertown Palace. The place is also close to Terry’s home in Palm Springs. He’s a local! Pre pandemic he used to play here often. Heres hoping.

seemed like an off night, the show at mccabes was mind blowing, crisp, clean and even more experimental than this. he played probably one of the best things i’ve ever heard on a guitar that night and giggled after and said “that sounded kind of psychedelic” and winked... something tells me he got dosed before this show and the mccabes show was the comedown maybe idk

Try and get to hear debut album. Especially ‘Stay With Me Baby’ just what a heart-broken teenager needed to rest his shoulder on way back some 50 years and so. I don't know what you're listening to, but this is a gorgeous rambling version with the kind of improv that Terry's always been known for. This is his delivery style now and it suits his voice, with all its aged timbre. He ain't Superlungs any more, just as Percy Plant can't do the Immigrant Scream.

It would help if he rehearsed the band - nobody except him knows what's going on...kind of. Shame. But there is a certain charm. Still, a performance like this could explain why his career went nowhere. He always seemed to approach his music and life with a carefree 'as it happens' attitude. An undeniable talent that was undeniably unsuitable for the rigours of corporate-controlled music making.

@@gregcohen6158 no. He was 19 I think. He was a solo artist under contract and had just landed a gig opening for the Stones on a tour. He asked if Page could wait till the tour was over but Page had guaranteed the new band he was forming could fill dates booked by the recently broken up Yardbirds, so he could not wait. Terry recommend he check out his friend Robert Plant instead and the rest is history.
