You can also say it all started when Daniel kicked the gate into Freddy Fernandez's face at the South Seas apartment complex he and his mother moved to, with Freddy so happening to be in just the right spot at that exact moment. That of which led to them interacting, where as they would have otherwise walked right past each-other without either of them giving much thought to one another if this didn't occur. That of course resulted in Freddy inviting Daniel to the beach that day, where he'd meet both Ali, but then unfortunately Johnny, and his friends there too! XD

What I like about this scene is the choice of weaponry. Each weapon represents Chozen and Terry’s character. Chozen has the sai which is a defense weapon because Chozen defending the larusso family. Terry has a katana which is offense weapon which fits with cobra Kai motto strike first. It also represents terry trying to attack them as well.

I think Silver actually has a wakizashi which is basically a shorter katana allowing the user to wield the blade more quickly. I believe Samurai used katanas mainly for executions and used wakizashis for combat since they were more effective in battle

We could see how much more skilled Chozen was. Terry was going all out from the very beginning (when they were empty handed) while Chozen was still on defense. Silver was also using a long ranged weapon which has a long advantage but Chozen was still able to hold

Terry Silver is such a badass. I understand everyone likes Chozen but I always find myself rooting for Terry Silver. Ever since I watched karate kid part 3 I always loved that man. I hope we get to see him come back either in the next season or in a spin-off/movie and I hope we can get some sort of redemption or forgiveness arc because I don't believe Terry can go down like the way he did. What an amazing show that I'd never thought we'd get.

Terry Silver is a very charismatic character. I love him! I like his determination and confidence and then...he's gorgeous. Even now in Cobra Kai s4 and s5 with the white hair he is.
