Seriously, even if it had the potential energy still in it, there's a very easy fix for that pending distaster, other than sacrificing souls for keeping it up there. They should have chipped it into smaller pieces and transported those to the ground, until the meteor was no more. They've done it before, when they built the ministry of truth.

I love how they deal with this in ESO, basically their explanation is that everyone knew it was a bad idea, Sotha Sil and Almalexia thought it was stupid stunt and a waste of energy but Vivec apparently loved to use/show off his godly powers and thought it would be cool to just leave it there in an attempt to make the people of Morrowind worship him more. "He" likely refers to Indroil Nerevar a hero and saint that existed in Dunmer lore since before they were even known as the Dunmer, of which the Nerevarine was the reincarnation. first 20 seconds ıof that dialogue is a disaster. Morrowind isn't made up of Vvardenfell. Neloth mentioning the puny Ald'ruhn over Mournhold makes no sense. Not only because him praising a Redoran city as a Telvanni doesn't fit his character, but also because Mournhold is a majestic ancient city and was the actual capital of Morrowind. Dialogue was written as if the map of ES:III was all of Morrowind when the mainland Morrowind is as big as Vvardenfell. Likewise the Argonian invasion never reached Vvardenfell. Anyway I'm just sad that the lore gets streamlined in order not to confuse normies.

Idiotic. Emblematic of how far Bethesda has fallen. Why did he keep talking about Vvardenfell as if it was all of Morrowind? Why did he talk about Vivec and Ald-ruhn as marvels of Dunmer accomplishment, when the guy was a Telvanni wizard-lord? He would have had contempt for both Redoran's shitty little seat and the Temple's main city. He's been alive for hundreds of years, and he's never visited the mainland?
