Hi I'm a European car tech and I own a 2015 e Golf SEL my sister owns a 2020 and my brother has a 2017 and they are great what I like the most is like you said they are really economical to run but also when I want to go pick up something at the corner store or for a short drive I don't feel bad doing it but with any gas or Diesel car it not good to do if you don't have a long ride to get the engine to operating temperature and it just not affected doing short trips like a ICE car.

Pfff.. this was by far the BEST video on the e golf I have watched so far! Just did a test drive and I was blown away by the car, I'm buying one this weekend

@Cat-Dog-Mouse thank you. I absolutely love ours. One recommendation: make sure you are paying the right (low) price for the car. It's an awesome car but they are depreciating quickly. You will not regret the purchase so long as you are comfortable with the price. Enjoy it!

@@Thingswithwheels1 yeah well the reason i'm actually buying one is because of the low prices! But still, I buying a really low milage one from 2020 so it's still a little pricey.. Hoping it will last me a long time. Do you still own your e golf??

@Cat-Dog-Mouse yes I do. It's a 2017 now with 81k miles. We love the car but we were thinking of replacing it with a Volvo C40 or XC40 recharge. I've been offered between $4-$6500 for trade which is shockingly low compared to what I expected. The car is beautiful. We will likely just hang on to it as we love it, just want to add a larger car with longer range for a kid to take to college.

@@Thingswithwheels1 That the same kid you said would take the car to college? 😅 Maybe you should buy my 2005 Mercedes E400d. It's only worth $2000 over here because of recent diesel taxes 🫨🤷🏻
