SAIC Motor Company and GM are producing the Wuling Hong Guang Mini EV and it is taking over the EV world. This little 4 seat car that is 115 inches long and 59 inches wide at a price tag of $5000 dollars is outselling the Tesla and it is only being sold in China. They started rolling off the assembly line in July 2020 and by January 2021 were the most sold EV's in the world. It has a range of 160km, a warranty of 120,000km or 8 years and yes that includes the batteries. Cute, Comfortable and Affordable. My wife bought a top trim sky blue one last year when it first came out, she loves it. She said it's so small that she has no worries finding parking in our old crowded community complex. But she said there's an updated version that just came out, with more colour choices which she liked so much. Since it's so cheap, maybe we'll swap it out later in the year. Haha... Oh, you gotta hit the shifter into 'Sport' mode if you wanna take it over 80kph. 'D' is limited to 80kph, which makes sense, it's a mini-car designed for getting groceries, picking up kids from school, and your daily errands, not for racing on busy streets.
