Tesla Consumed by Chaos in Shift to Musk’s Robotaxi Dream

It has been a tough year at Tesla, with its stock sliding more than 40% amid slumping sales, confusing product decisions and more price cuts. And now, Musk has ordered up the company’s biggest layoffs ever and staked its future on a next-generation, self-driving vehicle concept called the robotaxi. Bloomberg's Craig Trudell joins Ed Ludlow and Caroline Hyde on "Bloomberg Technology."

Tesla has a massive data problem. Robotaxis will suck so much electricity from processing power, they'll be prohibitively expensive to run and in terms of moving around massive data loads, for now even Musk has bitten off way more than his engineers can chew. The limits that Tesla Energy already imposes for 3rd parties is insanely frustrating.

Deflating the price of Teslas in discussion of retail cost of the vehicle based on "fuel savings" is just such an epic marketing bullshit proposition I dont think people that consider it in videos like this one deserve to be taken seriously.
