TESLA FSD 12.5.1 FIRST IMPRESSIONS!

Just got the latest TESLA FSD 12.5 and this is my first drive with FSD 12.5 and my initial impressions!

A wall street analyst testing FSD claimed it changed lanes on a portion of highway were lane changes were prohibited. Does FSD obey pavement markings like solid yellow line and broken yellow lines (no passing and passing zone)? This test case requires two cars, the lead car will intentionaly drive slow enought to force the tesla following the lead car to overtake it. Thanks. When there is one broken line and one solid line, traffic traveling adjacent to the broken line can pass (passing zone), and traffic traveling adjacent to the solid line cannot pass (no-passing zone). Two regular solid yellow lines mark where crossing the center for passing is prohibited (a no-passing zone). It applies to traffic traveling in either direction. A standard broken yellow line tells you that passing is allowed (a passing zone). A normal or wide double white line - prohibits crossing. A normal or wide solid white line - discourages crossing.

I got 12.5.1 the day it came out. And I liked 12.5 more. It did better at yellow light . 🚦 and less buggy. I ate some dinner went home and it braked so hard I almost threw up 🤮

For me 12.5.1 is not accelerating when the speed limit increases

Try the sunglasses during bright light conditions. Slow light may not show your eyes. Safety may feel the conditions do not justify sunglasses

@@asadalvi7 I know the light was green but why didn't opposing traffic move? a green arrow light must have been broken and FSD concluded that. On closer look there must be a green arrow light that just blends with the sky. Interesting that it's not visible even in 4k although exposing down would likely help. And FSD is operating with 3 times lower resolution... unless it's in the center view where it has a zoom
