I drove my friends model y today for the first time and honestly the regen braking was so uncomfortable for me. How long does it take to get used to it ? I was concerned with taking it on the highway at high speeds and doing quick brakes

Hi @@tomrobinson8290, I also had the same concern when I started driving with regen breaking. It took me some time to consciously release my foot “smoothly” from the accelerator so it will “gently” decelerate while gauging how much it’ll slow down depending on the release on pedal. I still have that problem here and there but it gets better the more you use it. Hope this helps
