Hi! So sorry I'm just seeing this and responding. I would just wash the outside of it, the inside seems to be a delicate material. Let me find out and I'll get back to you!

It's almost entirely waterproof. The one opening is at the chargeport. I haven't had a lot of water penetration, if any at all.

Does it reduce interior heat in the summer?

I asked a friend who owns one and he say that it doesn’t help with that. Try some sunshades for each window as well as tinting your windows. I’m still going to buy one because I park outside unfortunately

@@Sw1sher95 thanks for your note! I tried a few window shades and then I gave up as it seems to be a lost battle. The car turns into an oven whenever I leave it in the sun.🤷‍♂️ It’s a good thing the Cabin Overheat Protection works! I Park it in the garage whenever I can.

I would assume it does, especially if you have a darker colored car. I live on the coast of California, so the weather is pretty mild. I'm not sure I could speak to what you're looking for.
