The user profiles can also be linked to each person's phone. So it adjusts everything automatically. It also goes much deeper than just the seats and mirrors. It also chooses different settings like steering force settings, engine power setting and more. Quite handy.

@@minjung3350 You can set one device as a priority device so that if there are 2 devices that one will be chosen first. But if 2 "equal" devices enter the car at the same time it can choose the wrong one at times. You can turn of the auto-switching if it is a problem. It is fast and easy to choose your name from the list in any case.

@@MammaSusan81 you will use the same account on your phones. The profiles in the car has nothing to do with the accounts. The profiles can be linked to phones and keycards so the car will switch automatically. But you dont have to. You can simply switch using the screen in the car. We have 3 profiles. One for me and one for the wife. And a third «guest» account.

25:42 I think this is already in use for people in the FSD beta program and is used to monitor driver attention. Also if I remember correctly you can opt in to allowing Tesla to view footage of the interior camera from the moments up to a crash.

For the liftgate (and everything else), you can also talk to Siri on any iOS device if you have the "Stats" app :) Unfortunately Siri dosent have the best patience though, so if your Tesla in in sleep mode, you need to ask twice before it works (since the Tesla App takes a few seconds to wake up the car).

There is a few other differences, the interior does not have foot well lights, even though it is not mentioned they are not provided on the website or Manual. There is no control for Ambient lighting if you need it for door storage units. In Australia you do not get Fog Lights either, even though in the Southern Parts of Australia you need Fog Lights.

About the interior echo, they removed the damped headliner in the refresh versions. Makes huge differance for the sound of you voice. When playing music it seems to compencete for this, so no differance there really.

One nice touch is that the passenger gets the same 12 way power adjustable seat as the driver. Many cars in this price range cut costs there, but not Tesla.

One thing I don’t see any Tesla reviewer talk about is how hot it gets around your head area during summer. If you turn your ac way up, then your lower body gets cold while your head area stays hot. I live in Southern California and absolutely can’t stand that. It is remarkable given Tesla is actually developed right here in California and I see so many of them around.

I proper range test for the new mic sr+ inn cold weather (-10ish degrees celsius) would be amazing. Range in perfekt conditions is not som important for me.. the coast in Finnmark is pretty cold all year.

i have a model 3 2021 and i agree with everything bjorn said. HOWEVER, there are just too many random sound/rattles that pop up from all over the car interior. the biggest problem is sometimes there are weird noises and rattles and sometimes there isnt and it drives me absolutely insane. The rattles were there the moment i took delivery of the car driving it home. I have a lucid air on pre order now, i may or may not sell the model 3 when i buy the lucid. really depends if the interior noise improves or gets worse. the service center never tries to fix anything and always defaults to "its within spec" tesla is the biggest "closet-anti consumer company" ever. They know they can get away with it because truth be told, the design of the model 3 and model y is absolutely genius which is why production never keeps up with demand. The execution and building of the car however is truly subpar. No, they dont get a free pass on their terrible build quality as this is their 4th or 5th year of building the model 3. The exterior panel gap however is a big improvement compared to earlier models from before 2020 but still not perfect.

I think that the speed in the middle of the car is better than having a gauge cluster directly in front of the driver because when I drive with one had near the top of the wheel my arm blocks the speedometer.

Bjørn Is there any opening for the air to go from the cabin to the trunk? I see you mention that it leaks heat from the trunk so that the charging port doesn't freeze in winter. But I tried finding a photo or something where it shows the opening and I just cant find it. I like to have groceries in the trunk at winter. Some times for quite a long time, so i always have the back middle seat (ski hatch) opened for the warm air. Its very important to me but i cant find it anywhere :(

I hate that the manual wiper controls don't remain on the screen. It's also weird that the b pillar shape still doesn't flow with the rear door panel. In Model Y they've corrected it from looking at the pictures.

Is it possible for you to ask a Tesla dealership if they can sell me one of these CCS charging ports for my 2020 Model 3 Standard Plus ? I cannot buy them in Canada. I want to charge my Tesla using a CCS charger. I don’t want to use an adapter. There is one on the market that doesn’t work right, so I’d rather just get the CCS charging port.
