I see that soon every exit on the interstate will have chargers and as more chargers are installed the need to plan will be less & less. I'm waiting for the 1st fast food chain to get on the bandwagon and have chargers installed to entice drivers to stop.

When it is cold outside, say in the '30s, does your model s plaid launch very slowly, i.e., take about 3 seconds to go from zero to 20? Asking because mine does and Tesla says it's normal

Never. And I live in cold climate. Maybe if the battery is deeply frozen. But has never happened to me

I park my car in the garage so the car is never frigid cold when I take the car out. From a stop if I floor the accelerator pedal the car accelerates very slow from 0-20, then the power kicks in and it takes off. The car does this even when it's not super cold outside up to about 37°. I took it to Tesla and they said this is normal to protect the car when it's cold. I told them it's not normal but they argue that it is. I told them my model 3 performance does not do that and they said it's because it's a different platform then my model s plaid. Is there any way you could do a short clip accelerating from about 0-40 when it is under 37° so I can show them?

Looking at selling my 2022 M4 Competition, and getting a Plaid, so, Im collecting information. Thats for the road trip. I wont have to deal with too much crazy weather, I live in Northern California, it gets cold, but not like the east coast. I know this video is a year old, now, but, how are the tires holding up? Are you on the PS4S in the cold weather?

Not really concerned in this area - chargers everywhere. But in the mid-west, yes, i fill up to 100%
