I have heard about stopping power being a bit lacking . I wonder how involved it is to do any kind of mod on an EV, and I guess that could void the warranty. I am lucky these hyper horsepower cars weren't around when I was younger. Lol

I understand why you like the technology of the Tesla. I know it's much faster than my scat pack Challenger. However there's no drama. I love the cold start and going through gears. Especially with my aftermarket exhaust. Yeah I live at the gas station, but the car gives me smiles per the gallon.

For about 20grand it will make that Tesla look stupid.. And you can gas and go in under 5 minutes while the Tesla is sitting at a charger for AT LEAST 45 minutes (with no penalty for speedy fill-up. Not good to quick charge Tesla constantly).. lol

I like the car, BUT having to go intonthe screen for everything would be a problem, what if you need to flash you brights to tell someone there brights are on? Happens a lot in AZ, little things like that would be frustrating. But I like it. Just not ready for such autonomy until everyone has one.

Not a Telsa fan and in general not an EV of any kind, but I do think they will have a place once the technology is there. 400 miles is a decent range but if you get on it a lot the charge won't last that long.

It has wires to an electric motor that turns the compressor. Now they use it for heating also with a reversing valve.

Rimac Nevera...? (yeah it's over $2mil but, facts.) Yes, it is a limited production but its 0-60mph is 1.85s (without an asterisks saying it only can achieve this on a glued surface with a foot of rollout). That said, for almost the same acceleration (really at under 3s, does the actual number matter anymore?) at less than 1/10 the price, with three more seats that adult humans can use, several useful trunks and storage space, not looking like a 'please, cops, follow me until I accidentally speed' hypercar, there maybe a few issues recommending the plad.

The SSC Tuatara is currently the world's fastest production car, with an officially recognized top speed of 316.11mph. The record run broke the previous mark of 277.9mph set by the Koenigsegg Agera RS in 2017. The Plaid is likely the quickest off the line. Elon is a MAGAt though, so I would not buy any Tesla or drive one if it was free.
