You guys need to factor in. I own a 2020 and 2019 M5 Comp the 2019 is a stage 3 that’s a 1 of 1 in the US. And I’ve beat any kind of teslas on a roll. But you need to factor in how much of a difference it makes when a car weighs at least a ton lighter than a car that has a full blown engine, transmission etc… power to weight ratio is a big factor for teslas 0-60 or 0-120. And the fact they have instant torque and only one gear.

That M5 is no joke. An electric motor is much quicker and efficient than an ICE and I thought the Plaid would completely destroy the M5 but it was right there the entire time. The acceleration gained from electric motors is not enough to give up the emotions of a ICE. At least not yet.

As much as I like turbo V8's, the efficiency of an electric motor is loads better than a combustion engine. I dont think any petrol car could beat a Plaid in low/mid speed acceleration save for professional race cars like F1.

@@palakat77 what year is your car? 2020+ f90s in mdm mode will activate quick shift 3 on brake boosting without needing LC for that, but 2018-2019 will only get the quicker shifts (allowing for 0-60 in 2.7 or below) when activating LC. I also have a f90.

Stage 2+? What’s the HP at the wheels because a real stage 2+ is putting 800+ at the wheels. Now why won’t it beat a plaid, instant torque and the sheer hp advantage of the tri motor plaid, BUT the ICE motor can be tuned far beyond the plaid. We got street legal ice cars with 5,000 hp now.
