If you're talking about the cable in the video that's stopping the console from closing, that has nothing to do with the S3XY knob and he's using that cable for something else. Every other video of this thing shows a clean/seamless install.

If it causes a problem with the car, yes. You do know that the Tesla computer logs anytime you use a device that has functionalities like are being showed. If there is a problem with your car, Tesla can check the log, and if they show that the device caused the issue, it will not be covered under the warranty.

Not really. It does log different things, but they also mentioned in their warranty that there must be proof that the device damaged any car component. Been using them for year now and been to Tesla service multiple time - they even know about the buttons and really like them

I know of many situations where aftermarket puddle lights have caused the window not to descend when opening the door causing trim damage and broken windows (Tesla the door regulator through these lights) and Tesla refused warranty repair due to these lights becoming defective and losing ground.

Cables are not from the Knob. They are for Bearded Tesla himself. The sexy buttons team did not give us USB pass-through, because looks were more important.

Agreed, I had Mazda before my Tesla, the Mazda came with a knob which was nice to have, I thought I missed it when I got Tesla, but recent Tesla updates have made the UI so much easier to use that I no longer see the needs for my dials buttons or knobs

I was excited to check out all the Tesla content on KZbin after purchasing my 24' MYP. I was saddened to see that 90% of Tesla content on YT is just cheap garbage being slung by "content creators" hopping to get their 10%. Don't buy this garbage.
