Tesla Model Y Performance 2024 - 0-60 over 2 runs - Will it hit the 3.5 seconds

I haven't timed 0-60 yet in mine, but I can say that the acceleration has turned every passenger I've had into a fan of the Model Y Performance!

You have to factor in the 1 foot rollout. Tesla mentions this in their website that 1 foot rollout is subtracted to the 3.5s 0-60mph claim. That’s just how drag strips measure/record times, with a rollout.

Try it with a higher level of battery charge and it should be faster. I also own a Model Y Performance.

Will be interesting to re-run those tests with the battery at 80-90% though and see what the difference in timings are?

You’ll be struggling to measure accurately if pressing buttons yourself. Humans take a bit of time to react. Therefore your measurements will be way out. MYP is fast. End of.
