Look these shades stay on and they fit good generally. the question I have, does it really keep the car cooler on its own? I need some data thanks.

It's better than not having anything there lol to block the sun.

I found that the little black quarter glass shades have a left and a right, even though they are supposedly identical. The first one I tried on the left side would not go in, no matter how I placed it. I tried the other shade and it just fell in. I went to the other side and it just fell in too. Something to note.

Still good for me to this day. I haven't had it fall down once. I only had trouble with 1 clip but the rest slid in easily.

Just received these sunshades from Vion. I was unable to install them. The plastic clips are difficult to squeeze into the space where the inside roof moulding meets the glass roof. The actual sunshade is difficult to squeeze into the clips. It's a hot sunny afternoon. Maybe the car materials have expanded from the heat? Perhaps when the car cools down there might be more space to slip in the clips. Maybe my wife could figure it out? Maybe I'm too much of a klutz and these are beyond my abilities?

I did mine in my garage. You actually don't even need to use all the clips for it to stick. It will work with just some of them so you can play around a bit and see what works best and adjust as needed.

I have a solution for both your problems. The steel band in the edge of the shade is a flat strip. Push the clip upwards on the edge first, then rotate the clip to align with the roof, then it will fit easily. On the right hand side of the shade is the joiner for the steel band; don’t try to push the clip over that join, move the clip slightly forward of that. Second thing, get yourself a 6 to 9 inch plastic cable tie that has a very thin end on the push through end. Most of the cable ties I have seen are quite thin at the push through end. Put your clip on the shade at the location you want it to finish up. Push the thin end of the cable tie into the gap between the plastic panel and the glass roof, it should slip in easily where the clip was too thick. Next lift the clip up to the cable tie and slide the clip along the cable tie and into the gap where it should go. Carefully slide the cable tie out. Voila! Do that as many times as you need.

How much heat it block on a sunny day when you are driving the car?
@EricTMeraki Жыл бұрын
It's been in the high 90s the last few days and when I'm in the car you don't really feel the sun coming through at all. I'm very impressed by the quality of the product.

I ordered and got it install 3 days ago and boy it makes a big difference in car. I can easily say I run AC 2~3 degree less cooler than before and cabin retains its cool. Do not feel any heat on my head like before. I will recommend. Installation instructions should have been clearer. There were no instructions in the package at all. I watched KZbin videos to know how to install and where to put the clips.
