One should not forget that the deal with the Chinese government included that Tesla has 100% of its suppliers in China within 3 years from production start, which basically means a technology transfer. Tesla only engaged in this deal because Elon Musk thinks that moving fast is the best moat against competitors and that all progress in EV´s sales is good, even if it is from competitors.

The new vehicles from Tesla will break the internet! I hope we will be able to keep up with the information and live stream when they are revealed. The Model 3 Y and CT will be the mid level vehicles while S and X will be the top tier and the cheaper entry levels will be the newest gateway drug into the Tesla world. that will I think be available world wide and burst the doors off of demand. It's going to be WILD!

I like Jeff's commentary, but I think the big picture is missing from the timeline, for example the India factory is in limbo and the same day Elon met in China, The Mexico Factory also is in limbo and at the same time the battery factory will open soon, Trump has backed away from China tariffs , Yes I'm an investor and hope the best.

I disagree with Jeff. The supply chain for new products will be 90%+ the same as 3 and Y. The parts that differ will be made by Tesla with similar raw materials to 3&Y.

I have had an order in for a Dual Motor Cybertruck since Dec 2023. I've been waiting for the $7,500 tax credit fir non-commercial customers. I always stop by and check out the display Cybertruck at our local showroom whenever I go to the mall. They recently sold there 1 year old Foundation Series display model. I was horrified when I saw the replacement display model. It is a non-foundation CyberBeast, and it looks HORRIBLE. The alignment of almost every panel was off the Frunk lid was over 3/8 of an inch lower than the side panels. The Tailgate was mis-centered and didn't align with the twilight side pieces. The stainless over the arches of the door had a 3/8 inch gap to the lower stainless. I asked the Tesla employees about it, and they assured me that it was within specifications. One employee actually said, "You know that they are assembled by machines and are never perfect." I am now reconsidering if I should actually proceed with the purchase. What has happened to the previous perfect build quality. SO DISAPPOINTED!

BYD has a lot of problems with quality. There is a lot of complaints on KZbin about their cars. There are also 278 days out from paying their vendors. No 30 or 90 days like here they’re up to 278 days. They’ve got problems.

Tesla is amongst the lowest call outs for the German ADAC. Tesla always wins best customer satisfaction surveys - Bloomberg found 98% of Model 3 owners would buy again! Tesla has the lowest warranty claims of any US manufacturer (Warranty Week). UK AA found in 2024 a new ICE car will lose around 60% after its first three years at a mileage of 10,000 miles a year. The Tesla Model X after three years loses only 43%. Model 3 is one of the brand’s best for withstanding EV depreciation at 40% after three years.Tesla Model Y retains 76% of its value after a year and a half. A Tesla will outlast the 133k miles average ICE (iSeeCars) by 2-3 times (Dutch/Belgium Tesla mileage database). Tesla has no required service intervals (recommended change coolants every 6 years). Typically European testing centres receive vehicles that have been recently serviced and therefore show fewer faults! Reliability and low cost to own (cheapest brand - Consumer Reports) are Tesla bywords which is why they are among the best selling cars in the world and Tesla will have the market capitalization of all the OEMs combined... JD survey reliability - judged irrelevant.

Need revenue to pay down the $38 trillion dollars owed, or there won't be a country. I'm as anti oil as they come, but this is the answer until the debt is paid. And as others have said, the transition isn't coming in quarters, it's coming in a couple decades. But at least we're well on our way on that front, but the debt needs to get paid. Exporting will fill the over production. It will mean more money period.

Negative chatter on social media is at an all-time high, and his recent Nazi salute and support for a right-wing nationalist party in Germany are generating systemic risks. From a brand protection standpoint, a new CEO, like Ashok Elluswamy, Tesla’s VP of AI, seems like a smart move. Elon could transition to Chairman, which would reassure Wall Street and allow him to focus on his political ambitions while insulating Tesla from unnecessary turbulence. Thanks for the video.

Nice video. Not a criticism, I enjoy your insights. I tend to think prices could go higher if XAI709K rockets. But understand the logic for sandbagging estimates. My opinion is XAI709K breaks 1, perhaps reaches 10 ATH, if conditions are right. But broader forces are at play now. We’re moving into really unknown territory. And these entities are shrewd.
