I just received and loaded my update. I didn't see you mention the ability to launch light show from the app. Missing from the notes and internet is how the heck to do that. But I finally found it- under "Schedule", scroll all the way down, and there it is.

I saw online that the Holiday update is coming to FSD subscribers later in the month, but I am seeing some who have FSD are getting the update now so IDK, but I just got the App update to add to my watch yesterday so now I am waiting for the Tesla vehicle holiday update..

Did you pre-highland people not get the auto shift? I know highland got it, but I had heard they maybe they’d be giving it to you guys. Yeah, you have stalks, but the auto shift from park is super useful, though the new auto shift setting is a bit iffy.

yeah they didn't need Sirius XM now they need Apple car play and Android Auto, that weather system is pretty nice because my 2014 Prius alerted me about severe weather and showed me where it is, on my 14 Prius have heads up display, talking about on the windshield

As someone who does not have an apple watch or an iphone, it is a bummer that they only support the watch key functionality and sentry mode viewing on your phone if you have an iOS device. Also, got my Model Y right before the new AMD Ryzen upgrade so no overlayed radar or game upgrades for me. Boo hoo :( It is awesome that Tesla adds these features for free over time though!

@@cSR-71The watch is able to notify the wearer of heart arrhythmias and high or low heart rates. It's a really great feature, and can be an important lifesaver as one gets older. It could come in handy for those who are younger too. One never knows what the heart will do. What is your health and life worth? Just tracking your daily steps, distance covered, calories burned and amount of standing is a health benefit, if one cares. While wearing gloves and working outside with phone in pocket, being able to answer the phone on the Apple watch is a nice feature. Just touch the watch to your nose, answer the phone and talk. Get an iPhone. It's pretty easy.

You need an applewatch 6 and up to get the Tesla app since it needs OS 11.0. I had a 5. Just bought a 10 so I can run Tesla App on my watch

I have the refresh M3 LR. No one was able to help me until I figured it out so hope this helps. This applies to the ambient lights with this holiday update. When in Santa mode you will notice your ambient lights switch between green red white and in the menu for lights you won’t be able to toggle them on or off they will be grayed out. Under you will notice it says Santa mode, you will be able to adjust contrast. If you want to be able to have control of the lights again just turn off Santa mode as when I first encountered this I was like what the heck I thought it was a bug. Same with Rainbow Row underneath the toggle to turn it on there is an option to have the lights go through different colors if you don’t want that don’t turn it on. Sorry for the long dissertation 😂 I’m sure this will help someone out there and happy holidays Phoenix AZ

I didn’t really think this holiday update was “the biggest update.” The Apple Watch app is cool, but 9 out of 10 times, people already have their phones on them, so it feels a bit redundant. Everything else seemed pretty useless-you can just plan ahead, which isn’t that hard, lol. But again, this is just my personal opinion.

There was a recent update. I went to play music & the old features were gone. In previous times I could request a song & the vast majority of times that song would be played. Then that song would be remembered by the Tesla system. Well, that’s is seemingly gone. I can no longer request music. Is there I can “go back” to old system or am I screwed?

It's not like creating a "restore point" on your computer. Once you agree to the update it is done. I guess you could ask a service center if they have older software versions in their local database, and if it is possible to bring in the car and wipe your car and install an older version...seems a bit extreme honestly.
