Nice to see how much effort are put into the Semi project. We can now conclude, that optimizing of the design and the optimal way of production of the semi, are now at place. Those things have to be in place in advance, to make the final factory having the right proportions, and the perfect design for that particular function. No doubt, that next year production of semis will ramp up in high volume in Nevada. This is the evidence, that the startup of semi production is valid, and not just empty promises. Thank you Zanegler.

I truly look forward to all of your videos, moving forward on the building of this new semi manufacturing facility. Can you please please, please when the building is being built say roof not rough…. Every time I hear the term rough for the Texas Austin facility It drives me nuts… and if this building is going to be multilevel, just call it a semi truck manufacturing factory, not a multi level semi truck factory. Like the Austin guy always says multilevel parking garage, it’s a parking garage. Look forward to your videos .

@@ZaneglerTeslaSemiStalker-vt3or I really appreciate your efforts in documenting the work on the Semi factory. Without it only have scetchy quarterly updates.

This looks like a pretty standard process. Nothing stands out other than the different sizes of the footers. These are for machine foundations, but it’s difficult to say more.
@patrickspader4062Ай бұрын
Apparently it takes a month for the concrete to cure - so it’s good to see that they haven’t waited to dig all the foundations first before they pour concrete - they can start digging the rest of the footings whilst completed footings cure and the factory goes up quicker 😀

It’s possible they start even earlier since they won’t be subject to a load initially. Looking for the arrival os the cranes and the steel workers!

8:44 from my European point of view the concrete mixer truck looks very loght at the front and rear-heavy when filled with concrete. So much so that I've got a nervous feeling that it will tip up, leaving the driver high up in the air. And then I suddenly see the one at the bottom arriving with extra rear wheels helping to support from the back - Geez, never seen this over here! 🙏🏻
@stinekristiansen2936Ай бұрын
Perhaps @DessieDoolan or some of the other knowledgeable people commenting on Giga Texas would know the benefits of this way of designing the trucks?
@kkarllwtАй бұрын
Trucks are only allowed so much weight per axle. The drop down wheels allow them to transport 3 extra yards. ( cubic meters ) of concrete ) It has nothing to due with 'tippy'
@bobcallahan2322Ай бұрын
The trucks maximum gross weight is also determined by the truck weight “bridge formula” rules, and the longer the total wheel base the more maximum gross weight you can have. You also have to comply with any inner bridge axle grouping maximum weights. A single unit truck also has to comply with a maximum length rule. A longer truck will usually weigh more than a shorter truck when empty. The weight rules are also sometimes vary quite a bit from state to state so you will see many combinations of lengths, number of axles, spread of axles, and tire sizes. Trucks that haul intrastate comply with federal weight rules which are the same for all the states, but construction trucks that do not travel out of state comply with each states weight rules.

Will the building cover the entire graded area?
@Alarix246Ай бұрын
Why would they level it off if not for building on it? Of course there has to remain manipulation room on the sides but in general it's obvious!

@@Alarix246 They actually need large paved areas for WoW, employee parking, outbound lot, loading dock access, Megachargers and maybe some sort of test track. It looks like they're continuing to grade or level the hillside so maybe some of that can go there. They need to test the trailer hitch and probably the air brake connections so they're going to need some place to pull a dummy trailer up and down an incline.
