The AC not showing up is non functional anyway. All it does is pop up for a few secs and disappear. It's not even touch controlled which is why I'm going to get rid of that. You have to find out what your "Install set" 4 digit pin is. Then you can choose from the 3-4 different Accord options they have to see which works for you. You'll see "Accord L" "Accord H" etc. Do the guages show up on your screen but not show your RPM and MPH?

It's been 1 year since this video and I'm curious on how the screen is holding up. I am worried about how long this unit will last and how it handles under sunlight.

It blacked out on me around the 10th month mark. My battery died and upon jumping the car, the screen went black. Was still under warranty so I sent it in and they couldn't fix it so they sent me a replacement back in April. Been good ever since. Does just fine under sunlight. Leave your windows cracked to keep the temp down if the car is sitting.

NIce!Was looking around to see if anyone had installed one of these. How is the fit on the sides? does it sit flush with the rest of the dash? Does it cover the opening at the top where the factory imid screen is? Also does the backup camera come up if you put it in reverse?

It sits out from the dash. Like 1-2mm higher but does sit flush against it. BUT it requires some finessing to get it to sit perfectly. It covers the factory screen all the way down to the flip up cubby. So you'll lose the cubby. Yes the cam comes on when in reverse. It's about a 2 second delay. You can also choose it from a menu so that it's on all the time.

Top screen is completely covered by this monitor. And no you can't change the picture. At least not that I'm aware of.

My harness they sent me for my 2016 Honda Accord exl never fit the main power source. It has a little lip in it that makes it to small to fit I was was wondering if you had that issue ?

No I did not run into that issue. Just a heads up if you dont already know. You'll lose your side mirror cam function.

Did you have any problems with the AC back module hit your silver brackets on the lower end.

Yes. I took the rear cover off the module.

🤔 static? That's interesting. When you go to settings do you have a tab that says "Install set"? It held up ok. I upgraded to the PX6 12.1" last year. It looks better, you keep your movable vents and it's faster.

@@3rdzodiac got it fixed they sent the wrong harness. Now just gotta get the radio in. It’s off like you said on the left side but can’t figure out how to get it on

@@nixon2676 That's good news. As for the off side, I took two towels and the long pole from my floor jack. Folded both towels, one towel on the passenger seat, and the other towel on the screen housing where it's not flush at. Put the pole in-between both towels and slid the passenger chair foward enough to put pressure on the pole to push the screen housing in flush. Then I left it there for a few hours while coming out to apply some heat to the non flush area with a heat gun. It eventually sat flush.

They're supposed to be all over the place, lol. The sound is crisp. Plus one was bass and the other was subwoofer which I didnt need. I have amps on everything.

Still functioning flawlessly. I found out that this does not support the passenger side lane assist mirror camera and that the red navigation button does work. You have to disable "local maps" or something of that sort in settings.

Yes. No steering wheel functions. No reverse cam and the bluetooth window keeps randomly popping up trying to connect.

Yes. It was the passenger side that gave me a hard time. Couldn't get it to sit flush with the dash. After a few hours of messing with it I got it near perfect.

Yeah no problems there. I actually just got rid of this unit about a month ago and upgraded to their 12" model. It's faster and looks better. Go that route.
