Yes it was very dangerous. What was funny is that the guy had a women next to him and I could clearly see her reaction to his mistake.

Thanks for the video. I live in the same area, but haven't got HW3 yet, so it's nice to see the NN and visualization improvements and how well it works on these roads.

@@SwissTeslaFan Yep! Ours was among the first batch of M3 deliveries in march/april 2019. It was delivered with HW2.5, just before they started producing HW3. I heard that they started upgrading older Model S/X with FSD to HW3 in Europe now so hopefully won't be long before they get to the Model 3's :)

At 15:43, it's not the bike, it's the FSD which for whatever reason, it detects the light as RED just when you pass it. Happened to me multiple time (switzerland as well)

Hi, nice video, this for those info, For sign recognition do we need FSD or with autopilot it will work ? And light recognition too? Keep going with your videos it’s very useful for new Swiss Tesla owner.

I'm not 100% sure but I thing speed sign recognition should come to all cars with HW3. As for traffic light handling that's only for FSD.

@@SwissTeslaFan small feedback, I made this update and it's looks like with standard Autopilot only Stop Sign and Red Light warning works but speed sign recognition is on the update news but not active . Do it needs time to get activated and start reading sign ?

As I understand it, the EU map was generally reverted back to the 2019 version again. It happened to me also. I'm guessing they need to fix something and it will come back again at some point.

I think that all those "Not 30" "Not 50" and so on are... well... makes it just more confusing. Why not just replace "Not 30" with "50" and "Not 50" with 70 or 80 och whatever it is?
@SwissTeslaFan4 жыл бұрын
You know it's funny until I had this feature on my car I never thought about that but you are absolutely right. These "end of limitations" make no sense, it would be much better to give the new speed limitation.
@Xanthopteryx4 жыл бұрын
@@SwissTeslaFan In Sweden, i have almost never seen that kind of "Not..." when it comes to speed. We have "Motorway" and "Not Motorway" and also "Forbidden to overtake" and "Not Forbidden to overtake" and some other special arrangements. In those occasions, i think it had a purpose, but speed? No... It is not as if you save signs or something. Another one i have thought about, and that goes for several countries: You seem to have a white bottom with red ring and black letters. Here we have a yellow bottom and red ring and black letters and i really think those is easier to see. A bit curious as to why that white bottom is so popular? Here is an example: www.hn.se/image/policy:1.3889999:1477061514/!IMG_0674.jpg?f=Regular&w=960&$p$f$w=c6b336e

I would guess that white is higher contrast than yellow, so easier to read. Now for me the most confusing I've had in terms of signs are the French town name signs that ALSO imply a speed limitation. In Switzerland even when you are entering a village there is always a speed sign. In France if you enter a locality, the sign that indicates the boundary of the locality implies a speed limitation. I'm so used to having speed signs all the times I always have to watch out about this as I don't go to France that often (despite living right next to it).
@Xanthopteryx4 жыл бұрын
@@SwissTeslaFan Oh, we have those city signs too. And at first, that meant 50 km/h but now, since several years back, they started putting up speed signs too, so now a city sign have a speed sign and that means that the speed is in the entire area, and when the city sign ends, there is a "No city" and a "Speed xx km/h". I guess you also have those electronic speed signs, on portals? That can change? Do you also have "Recommended" speed? We have a blue square one (or black, for road work areas), so if there is 50 km/h on a road and a blue 30 km/h comes up, this is not mandatory but recommended.
@SwissTeslaFan4 жыл бұрын
@@Xanthopteryx No we don't have recommended speeds they are always mandatory. What we do have on highways are speed signs that can change the limit based on traffic conditions. This is where speed sign recognition is critical because a same road can change speed multiple times in the same day.
@MostCedric4 жыл бұрын
At 5:16, when the camera detected the 60 speed limit sign, your cruising speed was automatically reduced to 60. Would it be possible to disable this automatic speed adjustment? Thank you. It may sound weird, but after having experienced phantom braking during nearly every road trip, even with the latest firmware, it is very hard for me to trust these Tesla's automatic features.
@SwissTeslaFan4 жыл бұрын
Yes so the only way I found to deactivate this is to now activate auto-steer. But having more experience with the system I can now confirm that the car is preferring map data over sign recognition, which is currently a problem because often map data is wrong. However I've also had cases where it would not pick up an "end of speed limitation" correctly and would then "stay at 50" when it should be 80 and then beep at me. When buying a Tesla you have to accept that you will get glitches on early versions of the software. Some may not like that but I knew this from the start. Maybe I should make a video about that ?

Actually the problem is that the map is out of date, it has an old speed of 60km/h in that location that has been removed. So I guess it's the same problem of trusting the map data over the speed signs.
