Tesla vs GT-R - Can a Hakosuka take on the Model 3?

The Tesla Model 3 and the Nissan Skyline GT-R Hakosuka may seem worlds apart, but we decided it was time to see how the latest Tesla Model 3 stacks up against the old school “analogue” Hakosuka.

And the fact that can you see an electric car lasting 60 years. Be lucky to get 15 with batteries dying and the new tesla cars are making the batteries integral to the chassis so how would you change the old batteries?

What are we going to lose? Heart. These soulless washing machines, no matter how fast, how clever, how modern will never, ever replace the feeling that a living, breathing engine no matter what size or what it's mated to, gives. Fixing, maintaining, getting dirty, figuring out, tuning, finding that sweet spot, and of course feeling that engine run is what it's all about. Electric cars may be the future, but they are not as green as they make out to be, and are just a means to an end. If rather that entry level civic you mentioned to the souped up zannusi.

Great video (Apart from the Tesla) The Hakosuka is pure class, and just listen to that straight 6 😜 The Tesla pales into insignificance next to it. I wouldn't have an electric car if you paid me, no soul, no kudos, no heritage and so boring to look at!

A Tesla is an appliance, has no personality whatsoever, I'd rather walk on my hands. They're not green either, the fact that the Skyline is still in working order is testament to that. New cars are disposable I'm afraid

No. It can't. And that's ok. Because nobody who likes the Hakosuka and would want an old Skyline like that actually cares about the Model 3's performance. These cars are the exact opposite it seems like. The Model 3 is a soulless, corporate feeling appliance with about as much character as plastic cutlery. It feels disposable. And it is. This GT-R and many more like it are... There is something about them, isn't it? The were built to be enjoyed, whether it would be on the road, or the track. They feel mechanical and analog. That's why they'd break down if you don't look after them. And that's what makes these cars feel actually alive. That's what makes them fun and enjoyable. If you treat them right they will pay you back will make it all worth while. These kind of cars can give the driver an experience unmatched by anything else, especially electric cars. Sure they are fast. But are they fun? Not really. Also... The U in Hakosuka is silent. I think I have to type that under every video that mentions this car lmao

Nothing wrong with the Tesla as an everyday vehicle but it looses a critical test. To anyone who cares about the experience of driving, Driving a Tesla makes you the most boring person in the world☺️....driving a Hakosuka 😍makes you cool as ***k 😛.
