Tesla Wall Connector Not Charging? Check These Settings!

I just want to thank you for this video. I had a new used tesla and had this issue. Apparently, I changed the access to authorized tesla only without putting in my tesla’s information. Glad I did not have to deal with circuit breaker. Took me an hour to figure it out until I found your video. You just saved me a day of stress!

When I scanned my QR code, it linked me to Tesla website to set up the WiFi and amp output. That’s it. Nothing about software update or Access permissions to different cars. All I got is web info page with wif connections and software number and Amp output. This is just weird. I’m still not able to charge my model y at home. Just got delivery yesterday. Thanks for the video.

When you click on the tesla WiFi mine says "no internet" ?

Then you are instructed to go to the web address 192.168.etc. and you quickly said I'll use cellular data, but the you would be disconnected from Tesla charger WiFi? I'm lost at that point....

You have to join the chargers WiFi signal

You can open the wall port itself (ofc disconnect/disable breaker), and the code is under the panel on a similar sticker as what’s on the side, except it has the code. Good luck

Stupid!!! I live in the wilderness. No WiFi here. I hook up a 30 amp 220v setup identical to how the clothes dryer is connected. And.... now our Tesla's will not charge. Oh great. Now that do I do?

You need to access the charger to allow all cars to charge on yiur charger

You need to get that updated somehow.. maybe take the faceplate to a panel that’s plugged somewhere.. sticky .. oh or maybe hotspot from separate mobile device
