Tessa and Scott reflect on their partnership 5 years after retirement | CBC Sports

They have always said that the neat thing about them was that they almost cared more about the other person than themselves. And each had separately said that they really didn’t have perspective on their own career, but was so proud of the other person. And recently they revealed that each wanted to win the 2010 Olympics for their partner. And leading into the 2018 Olympics, Scott said that letting down Tessa was the one thing he couldn’t live with that season. They were real cheer leaders for each other. So glad they got this.

I really miss them seeing a new performance but they had retired and all those performances are only a beautiful memories that can’t be forgotten still now I watched them in KZbin and can only says the one and only pair that’s is unbeatable 🙏💕😊

I think it’s amazing that, with how much love and respect they have for each other, that they never once caught feelings for each other. I’m not saying you have to be in love with everyone you respect lol, but it’s just amazing that they’re both so attractive, spent their most hormonal years together, and never once caught feelings. The most beautiful I've Dancing I've seen is from Tessa & Scott - I kept watching o we and over as each Ice Dance was so beautifully done... I still watch them, it can never be enough as your style of dancing is from the facial expressions, synchronized movements, fluid movements, etc. made each of your act so wonderful ❤ You two were so great - dedication and the love for each dance made it just so great!

I have watched this sll and Tessa several times shows stark emotion in her face holding back tears. No matter what they said in the past i truly think she was in live with him and still is . Its too late now but a crying shame.

Love doesn't have to be marital. If someone knows what love is, they know it is not possessiveness. All people who love, love more than one person. Parents should have learned love from their parents or guardians and if they have children they should love each child. People who love their spouses continue to love their children. There is a long history of platonic love relationships. This Canadian ice dance couple conveyed their love of dance and each other during their performances and they continue to express deep felt love years after their dancing career ended.

You are full of reason in your comment. And, Scott's facial expression clearly expresses how much he misses the pleasant times he lived with Tessa. In this interview, Scott is with a nostalgic and thoughtful look, and very different from the relaxed and good-natured air that we used to see in Scott when he had a partnership with Tessa in Figure Skating.
