Bro you’re amazing, props for figuring it out in this tuning as well - pretty sure this is one of theirs in standard drop A
@Paajanenae Жыл бұрын
I tried my damnedest to play this in drop-A but it just wasn't possible. The riff at 2:05 is extremely difficult in standard tunings and it sounds like the guitar is also utilizing open strings to be able to play it like I do here. Let's hope there's a playthrough, I'd love to see Amos demolish this!

Such an awesome song, so hyped for the new album! You make the best covers my finnish brother 🇫🇮🇸🇪 Whats the intro song btw? That electronica stuff was really beautiful. Probably some epidemic sounds song but still.
@Paajanenae Жыл бұрын
Oh yeah, with this and Natural Disaster we're in for a real treat 😍 I believe the intro song you mentioned is just the default KZbin premiere pre-roll 😅
@kirbythecomputerguy7610 Жыл бұрын
Wow i've been listening to this track for a couple of weeks and hearing you play it, im convinced that the original version has the bass way too far back in the mix. Outstanding job ....I HAD TO SUBSCRIBE .
@Paajanenae Жыл бұрын
Thank you! I feel like most modern mixes leave the bass way too buried except for a select few bands, but Tesseract is just awful with their mix balances 😅 I mean, in our cover of King we managed to fit two tracks of guitar and one bass track into the mix and the drums and vocals still punched through allright
@kirbythecomputerguy7610 Жыл бұрын
@@Paajanenae You said a mouthfull , it's gotta be an issue in post production because I could not imagine Amos Williams laying down such a killer line only to have it buryed so badly.

Absolutely massive tone. What strings do you use?
@Paajanenae Жыл бұрын
Thanks! This time I used the standard Dingwall strings, nickel wound. Love them!
@garrettbaker3060 Жыл бұрын
Tone is scrumptious and playing is top notch man!❤️ How do you usually set the pd7 to stack so well with the b7k?
@Paajanenae Жыл бұрын
Thank you! 🥰 My starting point on the PD7 is all knobs at 11 o'clock, clean mode and attack switch off. At that point it's a semi-transparent boost with about +6dB bell at 3kHz. Then if needed I usually only dial the Hi EQ to compensate for supee bright or a bit dull strings.
@srayondatta43997 ай бұрын
Mind blowing dude, do you mind sharing the string gauges u used for this especially the 5th (B) string and the 4th (E) string?

What’s the tuning? Does this Bass can handle DROP C?
@Paajanenae Жыл бұрын
Drop-A#, this bass can handle any tuning! I've used the four string in everything from half-step up to Drop-A and the five string has been in everything from standard tuning to drop-D#0
