Very slick '53 for a decent price. Bought a dark blue '54 four door 210 when I was stationed at Fort Carson in '67 for $200 from a lot in Pueblo Colorado. No rust and everything worked. After the head was reconditioned, it ran like new. One of the most reliable cars I ever owned, drove it back home to Detroit a few times. Never should have sold it.

I had a 53 Chevy Club coupe . 235 6 cylinder 3 on the tree . It seemed like it had 75 grease fittings on it ! They had a giant steering wheel to help you handle it . Had a 6 volt system but I had an 8 volt battery in it so it'd start easier . bet you can't even find an 8 volt battery anymore . notice the drain plug in the gas tank .. Comes in handy .

When I was old enough to remember what my mom used to drive it was this year Chevy. It was painted a two-tone faded baby blue. I was born in 1955, so I might have been 5 or 6 at the time.

Now that's a true hot rod 53 Chevy with a 51 grill, 55 taillights. & 90s Chevy truck console all it needs is some seatbelts maybe or fix the engine cause sound a little rough on test drive.

Never understood why someone would do so much to the outside and inside but nothing to the bottom. Also every car must have A/C and power steering. I’m looking for a car and would pay extra if these issues were fixed.
