Nick, this old Panel truck has brought back many memory's for my self and 2 other brothers that we had to help old Mr Nevit, for his old truck had broke down and was beyond repair. At this time we where about 10 to 12 years old and we bought it out rite and fixed it up so he could go to market so he sell his wares or goods, for how ever you see it. For I leaned of his death in 1976, for family was family regardless of who the hell we where in those days .For my self and my 2 other brothers met at his grave stone and chiseled out a peace of his stone and put my 1st purple heart in his head stone with epoxy so know one can get it out. This how it was in those days for us old farm boys. Old Master Gunnery SGT USMC. So you see how things can bring back memory's. Lovey old Panel Truck.

What a cool old truck. Love it. 1st gear isn't synchronized on that vintage trans , that's why it grinds. Try double clutching going into 3rd.

No Power steering , three on the tree, what I learned how to drive , 52 years ago. this truck originally had a peg on the floor starter.

it may not grind going into 3rd gear if you double clutch it. beautiful paint job

Once once you got used to it you probably wouldn’t grind the gears. The older cars the wipers was vacuum operated. I would pay that much for that then some overpriced jacked price on any used suv now

There's a simple solution to the grinding clutch. Replace the whole drivetrain and motor with a Ford setup..lol..Otherwise it's a nice ol' truck!!

@@guardinoinc.7490 Or a little 302..You buy a donor 90 something Ford Explorer with the 302 pull the body off of the chasis and drop on the new 1953 Chevy body. That way everything is upgraded and the parts are cheep.
