@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate 2nd-generation Chargers are highly desireable these days. Even rustbuckets with missing interiors and no drivetrains are selling for $15 - 20K. It is what it is. I'm glad my first car I ever bought was a 1970 Charger 500, 383 Magnum...and I still have it. Currently undergoing full body sheetmetal and paint work. 3rd-gen Chargers are still very affordable and I would suggest to consider those if 2nd-gens are no longer in your project budget.

Watched that show every time it was on...weld them doors shut and ya got yourself a Duke car. They destroyed 100's of those Chargers while making the show so, even if it's a replica....it will always turn heads. Fun to be had by the new owner. This car was offered around Christmas time in a General Lee facebook group as a less than perfect driver for $25K! It sold within 5 minutes! The guy who bought it was a collector who had been looking for a nice example of a General Lee for some time! He fixed some things mechanically to make the car more cruisible and sold it only after he acquired another General Lee that was fully restored.

The General Lee is one of two TV cars that I seek after. The other one is the 66 Batmobile. My favorite show when I was 15 years old. Them Dukes them Dukes! I was surprised to see the door wide open LOL. They were supposed to be welded shut on the show. But I always thought the General Lee had a big block 440 under the hood.

i bought a 69 charger back in 2004 for 6,500 dollars it has a 383 4 speed 355 sure grip rear end and transformed it into a GENEERAL LEE i still have that car today it sits beside my other car it is a limited edition 1 of 1,305 STARSKY and HUTCH GRAN TORINO do we have any STARSKY and HUTCH fans out there
