Speeding through residential neighborhoods is never a good idea, the chance of some child running out onto a street or on a bicycle coming out is a story I don't want to read about.. I love your video's but please keep the old route. Also I'm retired police officer and have investigated such accidents, never good turn outs.

Yes we went and checked the roads out before we did any videoing. We also never went over the speed limit , just lots of one wheel peels and noise lol. Fun car to drive tho, I usually don’t even burn rubber. Just to show that it would on this one

The reason for the tape on the gas filler neck was because of all that gasoline that leaks out when you punch it. When you peeled away from the stop sign, a lot of gas leaked out.

Had this exact car same color minus the stripes but with a black vinyl top with a 307 88K Miles bought it in winter '82 for ONLY $250... Really!!! Looks like this one may have been a Big Block transplant, was likely originally a small block. Needs a little work, but sure looks like a fun ride!! Thanks again Nick for the lead foot test drive!!!

For this 52 yr old 72 Chevelle at 28 k is not bad, for they are selling for more than the Vetts of the day. For there is still a lot of room here in order to do of what you wish to do for her. Remember theses car are in high demand so think about it.

The only thing I would change on it is the column shifter and put a b&m floor shifter in, and put some crager ss off set wheels on it, 18’s in the front and 19 deep dishes in the back with some beefy tires on the back

Posi--old school lingo for positive traction/positraction to the wheels/ differential/rear end. Some call it a limited slip diff LSD It's whatever you got in the pumpkin. An open differential we used to call it a one wheel peel.
