Bet this car has a reconstructed title! I see evidence of flood damage from under the hood! Lots of rusting going on! You guys may and I say may have 4-5 in it if that! One good thing about it is the motor doesn’t smoke! There’s a lot of oil underneath the car from front to the back and the rear springs have lots of rusting! I really believe this car is a flood car! But who knows…..I could be wrong!

no it has a clean title but consider it's 40 years old tho. We disclose everything we know about them. I would say it sat a while and rust spreads pretty quickly.

It's totally out of character but the more I look at it it kinda grows on me. I bet it's not another one the road like it. I wouldn't put it on it. Nor paint or spend one cent on that spoiler. But buying that car sitting like it is is almost like adopting a child at 6..7..8 yrs old. It's already got character traits. Dam good color on that interior

@@dr.crentist3155 Ape Hangers ABSOLUTELY must ride at THE POINT position when the club is on the road. But one of the PROSPECTS has to be a PHYICAL THERAPIST in joint pain management. I had a black n chrome knockoff 883 for a little while. And I'm gonna tell ya what, I got more respect from Harley Owners than anybody on Earth. Why? Hell if I know but everywhere I went that had bikers there I WAS PERSONALLY INVITED to park beside the TOP DOGS of the event. Good times back then for sure.

Stay away from 80 81. Had a 80 L82. These 2 years went with aluminum rear housing to make the car lighter. Tore the bolts out of the back end

These Corvettes are always so cheap. But they do look cool. It's a mystery to me why I don't see any on the road despite of them being easy to buy. Anybody had these cars want to fill me in as to why they are so cheap?

A good low miles one is around 15k to 16k. I biuld and restore corvettes. This one you will need door panels, heater controls gone thru, complete vacume section needs replaced. Wipers gone thru, drivers side mirror needs adjustment cable ( missing ). And that funky rear spoiler needs gone, holes filled and new Caribbean Blue paint job done. Plus things that you can't see in the video. C-4 corvettes are cheaper, find them all the time for around $1500.

Well, the bank wants a appraisal on it first. So that means I won't be getting this 80, sorry Nick. But on the good side that means I'll be getting all new interior for my 73 roadrunner, around 5 grand worth. Be ready by next spring time.

My only negative comment has nothing to do with this being a project car - I can’t stand it when a dealer video of a car that has obviously been driven and has tons of wear, and then when looking at a 5 digit odometer he says “could be true miles” come on, no one believes that. This car has been driven and enjoyed and there is nothing wrong with a classic that has flipped its 5 digit odometer one or more times. There is no reason to pretend otherwise. It does look like the owner prior to Maple Motors was starting o sort the car out. Hopefully there is no rust throughs on the common areas where this generation of Corvette are prone to frame rot. If I ran across this car for what you paid, then I would have bought it too.
