No wonder it sold so fast! Jeeze that car is Sweet!🔥

Sorry guys the EPA told the car manufactures of the day told the car makers of the day of how to make the cars of that day. So call the EPA and tell them that you do not like of the cars that were made this way. So this old Monte was made the way she was meant to be and she is pretty nice of what you see. For I am happy to see, that she was sold for the way that she should be.

They are very nice cars.They were far shy of power for today's standards.A 5.7 out of a C4 Vette would move it quite well with decent gas mileage.EPA ruined alot of fun.

Back in the 80s this was the hottest car. Guaranteed if you parked this car in the street it was getting stolen

Not in '87. The Buick Grand National was the car.
@davidpiccolo3039Ай бұрын
I didn't say it was there car. I said it was hot meaning that it was always getting stolen. If you could afford a grand national back then you could afford to put it in a garage.

Why wouldn't you guys spend a hundred dollars and put a new headliner in that's pretty ridiculous
@Tartan12062 ай бұрын
It's not a hundred dollars to get it done. Alot of rhe aftermarket ones are garbage and take alot of time to get them to fit properly. Time = money and they arent getting that much more for the car vs the effort.
@BringItOn31124Ай бұрын
They'd rather let you spend the money to put a new headliner in.

I mean no offense here, but you're selling these 80's collectables for too cheap---the value of these cars has gone up considerably. You could've asked $22,900 and got it, no problem
@redbuick2 ай бұрын
For a 305 boat anchor motor? No way. It's priced accordingly. For 20k+ he's got actual bigger hp cars on the lot. But this would be perfect for an LS swap.

@@redbuick People want these cars original nowadays, and that means keeping the 305

@@redbuick …..not everyone wants to race from stop light to stop light. A lot of people just want a clean, solid car to take the kids to Sonic, hit the weekend cruise-in and maybe attend the occasional car show. These cars got decent fuel mileage and were smooth runners. They’re quick enough to keep up in modern traffic. Besides, most that are considering engine swaps, want to do it to their own vision and standards. This car is a blank slate to become whatever you’d like. I’m certainly not opposed to engine swaps, my ‘85 SS has a 454 in it. The reason I bought the car I did, was specifically because it was straight, rust free and unmodified so I wouldn’t have to sort out someone else’s hackery and half assed mystery mods. To each their own.
