I love the Aero Commanders, And yes it would be nice to see some Aussie liveries, The G.A.M (General Aviation Maintenance) livery you briefly showed brings back some memories as my old man used to work for them at Essendon Airport. And to answer you question with regards to Bob Hoover, I have seen him use a Shrike at Avalon. (a G.A.M one at that)

I have always felt this aircraft type were beautiful, in real life. Unfortunately, there are so many good simulator aircraft that are now beyond this aircraft. My current favorite aircraft, and since its release, is the Carenado EMB505 Phenom 300. I wish Carenado made the Embraer ultra-large Lineage 1000 because from KCMH I have to make a stop in far Eastern Canada to refuel then continue my trip to EGLL, Heathrow airport, London. My second favorite aircraft is the light twin Alabeo PA44 Seminole. If I had to chose only 2 aircraft to purchase those would be the two. I have many other aircraft however, I almost never fly them. Thank you for this video.

Cool video! When I fly this airplane in straight and level flight I trim full nose down but the aircraft still pitch nose up. Any help?

Hi Shane, what joy stick do you use? Would you know why I have little or no nose wheel steering on my A2A Cherokee / skylane 182 aircraft, great video, I have the Turbo Commander on my p3D v.4.2, would you say X plane 11 more realistic flt characteristic than P3d v4.2? Cheers Charlie (UK)

Charlie, i'm using old Saitek (logitech) pro yoke, with throttles, trim wheel and pedals. And yes I would say the Turbo Commander is more realistic in flight in XP11. Hope that helps Cheers :)

Aus Flight Simmer Thing is, I don't have a rig and have a laptop that's only fit to run FSX on medium high settings. It's a 2GB GTX 630 bought in 2013.

How did you get the surrounding scenery? Flew in broome for a few years, this looks pretty damn legit!

The surrounding area of the airport is from Orbx. orbxdirect.com/product/ybrm/xp11

Aus Flight Simmer yeah ive got the orbx ybrm but the surrounding areas around broome are default and look nothing near as good as yours.

I have a question. How do I go about getting an third party gps systems such as you use in your planes. I just purchased the Arrow Turbo (on sale). I would love the updated gps. could you give me some direction please kind sir?

+Ham hock For xplane 11 Reality XP GTN 750, and for P3D, Flight 1 GTN 750. Both can't go wrong. Hnope that helps.
